When Maria opened the door to the meat locker, she shrieked. She found the dead bodies of all of Black Ice's victims hanging on nooses. Then, Joan popped out at her side. "MARIA!"

Maria embraced Joan. "Taina was wrong. You aren't Black Ice, are you?"

"Would I lock myself in here with these things?" Joan questioned.

One of the corpses spoke. "Bitch, did you just call me a thing?"

"Is that Jennifer?" Maria asked. Joan shook her head violently.

"It's a long story, let's just get the hell out of here!"

They shot out of the room like lightening, ran through the kitchen, and into the hallway. Blood was trickling from the ceiling. "Who lives up there, Joan?"

"That's the nurses section upstairs. Let's get back to our rooms before that son of a bitch finds us!"

As they hurried down the hallway, Nurse River stepped in front of them, holding a kitchen knife at her side. "Where do you think you two are going?"

"Back to our rooms." Maria explained with confusion in her tone.

River raised the knife a bit. It was blood soaked. "No you're not."

All of the sudden, Taina turned the corner. She was drenched in blood, grasping her lower right side. She collapsed on the floor.

"My daughter'll get me out of this hellhole, and I'm going to press charges if you pull any shit!" Maria stated.

River chuckled and brought the knife up to her face, examining it's sleak features. "Dead people don't press charges." She brought it down, just as Maria slid to the side. It ripped the cloth and left a scar on her arm.

She grabbed Joan's hand and pulled her along as they ran, with River in pursuit.

Then, Nurse Amanda noticed the chase as she exited a room she had just cleaned. "Oh shit, somebody call nine one-" River slashed her across the face with the edge of the knife and she fell to the floor, banging her head against her cleaning cart.

"Sorry to cut you off."

Meanwhile, Maria and Joan returned to their room, slamming the door and twisting the locks shut.

"We aren't safe in here," Joan said. "She'll find us."

"No she won't, I have a plan."

Maria stroked her scar gently and got blood on her hands. She slid her hand along the carpet, leaving a trail under the bed. "That'll stall her for a minute. We can get out through the window!"

BANG!

"Go, go, go!" Joan screamed.

First, Maria unlocked the window, she then pushed it up and motioned for Joan to climb through. She slid through easily.

BANG!

It was more difficult for Maria. She had a coughing fit and got blood on the window.

Joan grasped her hands and tried to pull her through. "Not now, please God!"

"I thought you didn't believe in God, sweetheart." A voice behind her said.

She turned to find Harold standing there smiling. "He's coming. Step it up." He said as he disappeared.

BANG! The door broke down. Black Ice cocked his masked head to the side. He was wielding a machete, which was stained with blood as well.

"Get away!" Joan screeched. "Maria you have to climb through, I can't-
