Enjoy! I hope this is as full of feels as I hope. It's a little challenging making that transition from just Sean to the rest of the boys but hopefully this is an appropriate beginning to that direction. Thank your for all your support on this slow journey. You guys have been amazing and your votes and comments always inspire me to keep at it.

I hadn't seen Sean since Halloween and that was a week ago. His texts were brief and to the point. Something was wrong. And with how our schedules were, I still couldn't find time to see him.
I kicked my feet, hating the paper thin gown I wore for my yearly check-up. I stared at my phone sitting on the side table, wanting to pick it up and call him, but the last time I did that, the phone went to voicemail and then one of the other guys texted me to say Sean was on a mission. That was two hours ago.
How long was the mission? Was he okay?
"Sang," Dr. Roberts said, coming into the room with a clipboard in his hand that held all my health issues on it.
"Dr. Roberts," I said, trying to smile but the anxiety in me had built up too much and turned it more into a grimace.
Of course, the doctor noticed it right away and not one to bullshit, he just came out and asked, "What's wrong? What happened?"
"N-nothing," I stuttered out. My hands turned into fists to prevent from touching my lip, my biggest telltale sign of distress.
His eyes narrowed and he placed the clipboard to the side. "Just tell me, Miss Sorenson."
I winced at the formality in his voice. He knew I hated that voice. A serious Dr. Roberts was a dangerous man.
"I'm just hoping a miscommunication is going on," I admitted.
He nodded. "With Sean. No wonder he's been a grump these last few days. What did he do?"
"Nothing," I said, frustration bubbling inside of me. "Absolutely nothing."
Dr. Roberts' head tilted to the side. "Then what did you do?"
"I don't know!" I threw my hands up in the air. "We were fine. I thought we were fine. Then suddenly, he resorted to caveman lingo, using one word responses. He hung up on me last week! And I can't even find stupid time to talk to him, to make him talk to me." I moaned and lowered my head into my arms, my elbows propped on my thighs.
A gently hand touched my back and I stiffened for a moment until I forced my body to relax at Dr. Roberts' touch.
"He just came in half an hour ago," he said gently. "Go in there and make that boy talk. I'm sure afterward, the two of you will realize you're both being silly. Sean has a lot of pressure on him as part of the Blackbourne team, as a doctor, and from himself. He doesn't always open up about what's going on. You'll need to force him to do it."
I nodded. "Thank you," I said, straightening up.
"Of course. Anything to get him to stop being such a grump. Even our patients are noticing and if you don't get him to straighten up, I will. I won't let him put a damper on our patients' moods. They don't need it."
I laughed and could easily imagine Dr. Roberts lighting a fire under Sean's butt to get him back in gear.
I jumped down and went over to the closet to pull out my clothes. "Oh," I said, looking behind me at the doctor. "How's my health?"
He grabbed the clipboard and flipped through notes. "You're about the same. Just make sure to eat. Your blood pressure dropped a little and I want you to come back in a couple of weeks. Drink more liquids and I hate to say this, but eat a little more salt, not too much though. That should bring you back up."
