Kohl pulled me into the storeroom before I could say anything. He shut the door by placing me in front of it. His arm was across me and his hand was over the doorknob. He locked the door shut. His gaze gave nothing away.
"Look whatever you want to do, it's not happening," I told him calmly, mentally patting myself in the back for not stuttering. But really, I was a nervous wreck here.
"I don't wanna do anything." He raised an eyebrow. "I just thought if we disappeared for a bit, May might assume whatever she... assumes." He grinned.
"Oh."
"Why did you wanna do something...?"
"No," I said instantly.
"Oh, okay... you don't seem all that convincing, that's all, but I'll take it." He smirked.
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes.I wondered how long we'd have to stay in this small confined room. Although we weren't doing anything we might as well have, the way that Kohl towered over me, closing all the distance between us, only that had been because there actually was no room for us to... spread our wings if you like. It was just that small.
I looked up at him to see him watching me. "Can you not look at me like that?" "Like what?" He asked. I didn't say anything. Moments passed in silence.
He looked at me as if he were trying to solve a puzzle. He brushed my shoulder with his hand "That won't work." He muttered more to himself than me. He worked his hand around me to my back, to my zipper.
"Uh, what are you doing?!" I flinched.
"Hold still, making it believable. I was thinking to expose a little shoulder if you know what I mean?" He winked.
He was killing me. He really was. I wanted to gag.
"But your dress doesn't really allow that." He said as his hand rested on my zipper. "Yeah, not happening," I said as I swatted his hand away from my back. "You definitely didn't ask, so don't. Besides, I don't need to look like I just did the dirty with my husband at his cousin's wedding inside a storeroom closet thing, whatever this is. Thank you." I slammed my hand onto his chest.
"Uh- yeah. Too many words. But I did hear dirty." He smirked and gripped my hand. I pulled my hand away fast. I shook my head and then thought of something.
"Here I have just the right thing, don't get grossed out though, okay?" "Why, what are you gonna do to me?" He said, raising both eyebrows and crossing both his arms across his chest. "Wait, what? Forget it, don't answer that. I don't even wanna know." I shook my head.
"Anyway," I said as I smeared the lipstick off my lips with my fingers and reached to rub it over his lips. "This is what I was talking about."
"Not bad, not bad. But we could've just done the actual thing, you know... we still could." He said almost seriously. But I knew well enough to know he was teasing me.
"Don't push your luck, mister."
"I love it when you call me mister." Again, with the teasing, he didn't know when to quit. "Seriously don't push it." "Alright, alright I surrender." He put both his hands up. "Seriously, though... Thank you. For helping me and all, I know how hard this must've been for you."No, you don't.
I nodded at him.
