I woke up to find Kohl laid out face flat, with his arm spread out across my stomach. "This guy", I muttered as I flicked his forehead hard. "Ow!" He rubbed the spot I flicked, with the hand that was on my stomach earlier. I sniggered and then looked at my phone to see that it was 8:05 am and got right out of bed. I was freaking out about being late on my first day back to college.

"Don't you have to wake up for work?" I asked Kohl, he mumbled in his sleep and said he didn't have to be there till 10 am. I went ahead and got ready for class.

Just as I was about to leave our bedroom, I watched Kohl sleep peacefully and couldn't help but think of the stress that the past few days and not knowing what was going on between us had caused me. I didn't understand what we were anymore and it was annoying me. I shook my head and left the house.

As soon as I got to class, I saw my best friend who I've been friends with since we'd started learning how to count. Her name was Jayden, she was already talking to her many dogs who'd happily write her class notes for her if she asked, sorry her dear admirers.

As our eyes met, we waved and I went to sit next to her. "Dara! I barely saw you around the break, just cos you got married, you forgot about me, huh?" "That's not true and you know that you've been too busy with your many boyfriends, haven't you?" Ouch. She'd stepped my foot. Not in front of them, she said with her eyes.

As we spoke and waited for the class to start, our other good friend joined us, Dean. Jayden had met him at the beginning of our course and had introduced me to him and we'd become friends since then.

"What were you guys talking about?" He asked. I told him we weren't talking about much but the work, I couldn't help but giggle, he always said this whenever he joined us. It was his way of saying hi.

Dean was a really good friend, a good person. But sometimes I would notice him staring at me for longer than he needed to. He knew I was married of course, which is probably why he didn't say much to me. I did sometimes feel jealous that Jayden and Dean were always with each other, having their own inside jokes. But I was married now and even if people say nothing will change, it did.

Sometimes I feel like if I'd asked back then for Dean to save me from my marriage, he would've done it in a heartbeat. I don't know if he knows the circumstances that Kohl and I got married in. But I would rather he didn't know. Of course, Jayden knows as she tries to check on me as much as she can, asking if he's treating me right and promising me that she won't breathe a word to Dean, every time.

When the class was over, I was about to leave to go home but Jayden asked me to join her and Dean for lunch. I tried to get out of it but she was stubborn and won me over by saying that I barely had any time for them now that I was a married woman. I thought it over, there's nothing I really had to do at home today anyway. I'll just let them know at home that I'll be back later. Knowing Jayden, she'll probably get me to make plans for later too.

As we didn't have any more classes, we left to go downtown and had a meal and Dean huffed and puffed as we took pictures of our food and told him not to eat just yet. This was fun. I missed it.

We talked for a while and they told me about their dating lives. Jayden was with her new man and she'd told us that he almost proposed to her after being with her for a month but she somehow got his friend to tell him to not go through with it. We all sighed in relief. "No offence Dara, but there is no way I'm getting married just yet. I've still got a lot more life to live" I glared at her. "None taken? How about you Dean, when do you wanna get married?" I'd asked. "Not until I find the right girl. Could be next month, a few years, dunno." I nodded at his answer while Jayden rolled her eyes.

It was almost 11 pm, we had moved over to a bar and one drink became so... many... and you've guessed it I was drunk, s-ss-super drun-nk. One second, I was telling my friends I'm happy with my marriage and Kohl treats me right, the next I was going in and telling them that he's always playing mind games with me and then I was sobbing "I don't know what he wants, you know? He told me he hates, he told me he'll drive me away, next he's got me pinned against the wall, I don't know what we're doing! You know?!" "There, there Dara. I just say you sleep with him." Jayden winks in her also drunken state. "You gotta do it, or both of you will die from this s-sexual tension. You just gotta do it."

"No. Don't do it Dars, it's not too l-late you can still divorce him. He doesn't deserve you. You need a guy who'll love you, not lust for you." Dean says as he places his hand on mine. "You guys! Don't put ideas into my head! I'm already stuck!" I scream as I'm about to smack my head against the table, just when Dean places his arm on the table, my head falls into his arm. I repeatedly smack my head against his arm.

"Go easy on him Dara" Jayden continues to slur her words. I hear my phone ring so I jump back up as if I'm possessed. Without looking at the caller ID, I pick up "Hello D-Dara speaking, who is it?!" "Dara, where are you? It's almost 11 pm. Do you know how worried I was?" "Hahaha, who are you?" "Dara stop playing, tell me where you are." "O-okay one second please mister, excuse me, ma'am, where are we?" I ask the cashier. She looks at me like she's not even surprised, she's probably seen it all. "Hello? Yes, your wife? Yep. This is Lavish Bar, Yep that one. Okay, sure." I hear her say on the phone. She hands me back my phone and I go back to the table. "Who was it?" ask both Dean and Jayden. "I don't know, some guy" "Oh, okay." They say in unison.
