Dear Angie,

I'm not quite sure if I am hallucinating, but I think I saw the name Anita Sommers on my class list. Anita Sommers, a name so familiar and hated these past few months.

No, I promised myself that I would forget anything to do with New York.

Love,

Lia

Dear Angie,

I am enchanted.

I can quite plainly see why Claire loved Anita Sommers in the first place. Her mind is almost as complex as Marius's. The way she spoke and presented in front of the class today, Angelissa, was beautiful.

It was as though I were Leornado Da Vinci gazing upon the face of Mona Lisa for the first time, with her shy and mysterious smile. This isn't the Anita Sommers I met in camp. This was a new, intelligent young woman.

But what is she doing here? This isn't her home. She's suppose to be back in Dripville. Are Marius and Claire hunting me down?

No, no. It's not possible. Anita Sommers is too obvious a spy for Marius.

I will have to enquire about her tomorrow.

Love,

Lia

Dear Angie,

She is on a scholarship. She's a recent transfer student, with an affinity for cute and fluffy stuffed animals. She snuck in a Labrador, by the name of Brownie. Her natural hair colour is brown, but she dyes it every year. She has asthma. Her full name is Anita Sue Sommers. Her grandmother was Indian, and did not approve of her being lesbian. She started wearing contacts when she turned 13, a few days after her cousin's departure to Utah.

Her cousin has a history of domestic abuse, and I suspect that he broke her leg in the duration of his stay. He got arrested for fracturing the skull of some policeman, and was to be put in Juvie until he reached 18. The bastard only lasted for a month before one of the kids beat him so bad that it broke his spine. He is still in a coma.

Her parents are both dentists, and met at work. Nothing interesting about both parents. Seem to be relatively good citizens. Her father won the fastest eater competition. He managed to ingest 30 bratwurst hotdogs in two minutes. Her mother was bullied in high school, and probably had low self esteem.

Anita aced every subject she has ever had, with the exception of Music Theory and History. She enjoys listening to some boy bands. Her favourite food is cashews, although she developed an allergy to almonds when she was five. She spends most of her time watching Korean dramas, mostly subtitled. She studied Korean and Spanish in Grade School, and was considered gifted. Which is a bit ridiculous, considering that I am fluent in six languages, if you discount my terrible Chinese and Sanskrit, and I was never considered gifted.

Quit playing any instrument possible once she reached Middle School.

This was all the meagre information I managed to compile within a day. It's not enough. But I am almost completely certain that she isn't a spy. I went to see her interview with Mr Shaol. It was impressive.

I don't think that I have ever been so obsessed with anyone since Caroline. Marius Matari, as much as I hate to bring up anything to do with New York, was more of a... I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but my feelings were different. Less obsessive, and more...

Stop.

Caroline Smith fits into the profile better than Marius. I shouldn't even be thinking about him.

But I only became obsessed with her after we did it. She was only an instrument of petty rebellion against my somewhat homophobic mother. But she was boring in the end, and I forgot about her quickly.

Perhaps that is what is happening with Anita Sommers? Maybe I should just let nature run it's course.

I'm sure I'll get bored soon enough, Angelissa.

Love,

Lia.

Sup? Didn't expect this, did you? Bwahaha. Unless you opened my design and technology text book... and saw all the Emita/Anilia stuff.. what do you guys think? is this pairing meant to last?
