Chapter 30:

Peeta's POV:

I've been here for almost a week now. There is not much to do here. They bring me out of my room at six am sharp and take me to a room where they take me through different moods to see what may cause a flashback. That is what I do. Each and every day, until we'll go to the next step, controlling the flashback.

I'm all alone, without Katniss and without anyone else that I care about. I am about to lose serious control, but I am trying to keep myself standing and look at this the positive way. When I come home I hopefully won't get any flashbacks anymore and everything will get better. I just can't really imagine staying here for seven more weeks.

Katniss' POV:

It's now only four weeks until Peeta comes home.

I'm almost finished writing the book, I just don't know how I should end it, so I've been putting that aside for now.

Today is the first day that I really really felt the longing for seeing Peeta again, I think it's because I don't have anything to do. These past weeks I have been staying busy so that the longing kind of faded. But now since I just can't get myself to do anything, it is worse than ever.

Two weeks later:

Johanna's POV:

I wake up by the sound of the alarm clock that I archived. The sound is fairly annoying, so I let out a loud groan as I turn it off my slamming my hand on top of it.

I sit in my bed for a while, before I eventually go out of bed and downstairs to grab something to eat.

I grab an apple from the fruit bowl. I go upstairs to the room Katniss spends most of her time in, and sit down next to her. She hasn't been leaving the couch for weeks now, so I assume she's been sitting here all night as well.

"Do you want some food?" I ask her.

She shakes her head, not looking at me, but looking at the painted wall across the room.

She closes her eyes slowly, and waits a few seconds before opening them again. The circles under her eyes are darker than ever, and her expression is blanker and more empty than I have ever seen. She is emotionally broken, doomed and lifeless without that boy. Even though I hate their irritatingly cute relationship, I couldn't be happier for Katniss that he'll come home today.

"So have you called Peeta yet?" I ask.

"I can't call him." She mumbles, still not turning her head my direction.

"Yes you can. You forgot that he'll come home today?" I ask, trying to give her a supporting smile, which is rare.

"What? No, that can't be today." She says and finally turns her head to face me with a dumbfounded look plastered on her face.

Before I can answer, she runs to the telephone to call Peeta.

Katniss' POV:

The phone in the living room is broken, so I run to my room without hesitation and dial Plutarch's number.

"Hello?" I ask right after the ringing stops.

"Who is thi-" Plutarch starts.

"Is Peeta there?!" I cut him off.
