All Over again

It was morning when I woke up. The sun was burning my left cheek. I shot up once I realized what was happening. "we can't stay here" I squinted as my eyes adjusted to the sunlight.

I took in my surroundings which was limited. I was in a.... SUV? I was trying to figure out who's SUV this was but I was distracted as someone knocked on the window.

I turned and looked at Carl pressing his face against the window. I chuckled at him and opened the door slightly. "hey little Rick" I joked, ruffling Carl's hair. "no touching of the hair" he moaned, trying to fix it.

"what's up sheriff?" I smiled at him as I sat up. "my dad wants to talk to you" I groaned before opening the door completely and jumping out. I patted Carl on the head quickly and made a run for Daryl.

"err... what ye doing?" he turned his head to look at me "hiding" I simply stated "from who?" I took a peek from behind Daryl and saw Carl talking to Rick. "I touched Carl's hair" I think he got the hint after that because he didn't ask anymore questions.

"so, we could double back and this road up..." "but thats where that last heard was and god knows, it could be twice the size now"I groaned as T-dog and Glenn spoke. We were all hovered over a map, trying to figure out out next move.

"hey there's a lake down there, while we're here we better fill up" Evrryone minus me, Daryl and Rick went. "hey, while they go and wash their panties, lets go huntin" I smirked at Daryl's statement as he whispered to Rick.

They walked through the woods and there was noway I was staying here by myself so I thought I'd have a bit of fun while we're waiting.

Daryl's pov:

Me and Rick walked through the trees, ducking under branches and keeping an sharp eye open.

We walked over a bridge type thing, into a clearing. We paushed and smirked at each other. This is exactly what we have been looking for.

Sudden there was a rustle behind us, I whipped around and aimed my crossbow. I squinted as I looked through the tree and I couldn't see anything unusual.

I was about to lower my crossbow when the rustling come from a different part of the woods. I spin around and came inches away from someone's face.

I was too close to see who it was and before I could do anything the person gave me a quick peck on the nose and then backed up.

When my eyes readjusted from the sudden closeness I frowned as I stared at a pair of familiar combat boots. My eyes traveled upwards until they connected with those ocean blue ones and a dorky smile.

"What ye doing here Jamie?" she huffed and turned to Rick " this guy" she pointed over her shoulder at me. She turned back round and smiled at me "Daryl... you know you LOVE me" I groaned as soon as she finished speaking.

I pretended to think "no" she huffed and crossed her arms like some 5 year old. Her face suddened changed into an 'awe' expression. "it that...?" I nodded, not even bothering to turn around  "are we....?" she turned to Rick who nodded. " this is our new home" she beamed and before I knew it I was being pulled into a hug.

"urm...." she chuckled and pulled away but her arms were still wrapped around my neck. I stared her in the eye and I saw something that I never noticed before.... A sparkle?

"ah um" someone coughed. My head snapped to the side and I saw Rick standing really awkwardly. I pushed away and clearer my throat "we err.... we gotta tell the others" Jamie nodded "is it safe?" I shrugged "one way ta find out"

Jamie's pov:

I can't believe that just happened.... I almost fell for him again. I have kept my distance for this long since the farm and now I'm head over heels for the guy.

This is gonna be another Ross and Rachel thing ain't it, on again off again. I shook my head of the thoughts as we are walked back through the woods.

I kept looking out the corner of my eye and seeing Daryl look puzzled at me. It's as if he was trying to figure something out. I just sped ahead of them and back on the road where everyone was waiting.

I lent against Carol's Cherokee and crossed my arms as I stared at Daryl, standing awkwardly in front of everyone with Rick. Daryl was never a people's person.

"OK guys... we've got something to tell you"......

Another chapter done. Its been too long but with this 1 week off from school you can expect at least 2 more chapters! who liked my Ross and Rachel reference from F.R.I.E.N.D.S?

Beth (Emily Kinney) was the only one not spotted on The Walking Dead set. Is she not going to be in the first few episodes? Rumors say she's on a tour to promote her music career but who knows right? maybe ait a big of both haha
