Perfect Timing

A couple of days past and Hershel was making great progress. Me and Lori were on watched as everyone went outside.

"Woah, Woah" I walked into Hershel's cell where Lori was keeping an eye on him and what I saw brought a smile to my face.

"I can't take one more day looking up at them bars" I chuckled "Hershel, are you sure?" he nodded at Lori as I watched. I walked over to help him with his crutched and he just winked at me. I smiled wider as me and Lori helped him outside with the others.

We got outside and the sun was great! I hadn't been out in 3 days so this was wonderful! we saw Glenn, Daryl and Rick in the runway and once they spotted us too they all had massive smiles on their faces, including Daryl.

I beamed at everyone clapping for Hershel. "yeah Hershel! Whoo!" I smiled as Daryl hushed Glenn. Everything for that moment was perfect but that moment soon past. "Carl! Lori!" a panicked Rick ran as fast as he could as the others followed. We all turned around to come face to face with over a dozen walkers.

I quickly took action. "Beth, take your dad and go somewhere safe" beth nodded and helped Hershel up some steps where Hershel cleverly put his crutch so the walkers couldn't get into the barred gate. I then turned to Lori, Maggie and carl. "where's Carol and T-dog?" "they ran back inside" Lori informed me."ok, come with me" we all ran back into the building trying to escape the sudden out burst of walkers.

We tried for our cell block (cell bloke C) but as soon as we got to the metal door, walkers came stumbling out with snarling mouths.

"quick this way" I pushed everyone to the left, leading to the tombs. We got blocked off every which way until we got round a corner and past an old boiler room. "ahhh" I paused and turned around. Lori was hunched over and holding her stomach, She looked up at me with sweat all over her face "its time".

I shook my head "no. not now" "Perfect timing" maggie whinned. Lori nodded slowly as she let out another grunt. I looked up at the sound of snarls. "Jamie?" I looked down at a worried Carl and a shocked Maggie. I searched the surrounding. "quick, in here" I pulled open the door to the boiler room and Lori lead everyone in.

I quickly closed the door but realized there was no lock as it stayed open a crake and I backed away so I wouldn't be heard and smelled as the walkers went past.

We waited for the walkers to go and as soon as the close seemed clear Lori let out a massive yell. I stared in shock "Lori?" "you've gotta do it" I shook my head "no, I only got taught the basics" "yes! you have to" I whimpered "o-ok."

I swallowed my fear and frowned. "ok, let's have a baby"

So sorry for the late update but I went on holiday last week and I've been busy this week so here it is... Sorry for it being so short but I'll make up for it next chapter. Thank you for all the reads, votes and follows! love to y'all xoxo
