*So this chapter is suppose to be when Glenn and Maggie go out on a run for baby formula and they haven't been back all day*

The next day....

I woke up to the sun beaming on my face and hot air breathing down my neck. "You smell like a wet dog" I muttered to a half sleepy Daryl. He frowned and I giggled.

"Well at least I don't look like one" I gasped and playfully punched him in the chest. Daryl laughed, a deep, meaningful laugh. I went to touch his cheek but he grabbed my hand roughly, I thought he was going to moan but instead he pushed me back and straddled my waist.

"Ye are so weird" "quite true. But normal's overrated" Daryl chuckled and gave me a light peck on the lips. I smiled and starred into his blue eyes, I knew something was bothering him.

"Daryl, what's the matter?" I cupped his cheek with one of my hands. "Nothing" I frowned "Daryl" I used my warning voice which scares most people. "Rick wants ye to go out" now I was confused "why?" "Maggie and Glenn hadn't been back from their run all day. People are startin' te notice" Daryl was now off me and sitting on the end of the bed. I too sat up.

"Is that what you were arguing about last night?" Daryl looked down "ye heard that huh?" "Daryl?!" "Yeah, I didn't want ye te go. You've only been back 12 hours. Ye still need to rest" I frowned "you don't get to tell me what to do. You don't have the right to make decisions for me". I knew that was harsh and I instantly regretted it.

"Daryl, I...." I could see him getting angry as I reached my arm out. "No. Ye wanna go runnin' off and gettin' captured too than ye do that. I'm done!" I glared at him "you're done doing what?" "Protecting ya. Making sure ye safe and knowing ye thr only thing that matters because without ya I'm lost."

I felt a tear slip down my cheek. "Daryl...." "Go" I just sat and stared at him "go" I sniffed and made my way to the steps. "You're the only thing that matters to me too" I jumped down and ran out of the cell block where Rick and everyone else were getting ready to head out.
-------

I wondered behind everyone. Apparently some women named Michonne saw the whole thing go down. Glenn and Maggie were walking out with the formula when someone came up and threatened them to drive to his sanctuary. I don't know who this dude is but he's gonna pay for taking my friends.

It was dark as we reached the walls of this sanctuary. Michonne said that its called Woodbury and the leader calls himself the governor. What a sick, twisted name.

Well, we managed to find a secret way in thanks to Michonne although a man was standing there with a gun but he got knocked out. We went through the door and noticed a small little town, all clean, not a walker or corps in sight.

We were led down a street by Michonne. Rick said not to trust her but she seems cool.

We found a warehouse were the governor was apparently keeping Glenn and Maggie. We were sly and quick. We took out four guards, I managed to finally use my knife after ages. "Maggie?" "Glenn?" I heard muffled voices.

I quickly left the group to follow the voice. I pressed my ear to a door and once I found the muffled voice I kicked open the door to find Glenn black and blue with a chair arm in his hand and a dead walker by his feet.

"Glenn!" I rushed to him as he almost dropped to the floor. "M-M-Mer...." I looked up and noticed Daryl standing with his crossbow raised. "Daryl" I sighed. "Daryl, Merle's here. He's the one who kidnapped us. He's like the governor's right hand man" I noticed Daryl's face drop either in despair or disbelief, I couldn't tell.

"Glenn!" I saw Maggie rush to Glenn with a shirt held over her chest. "The governor... Touched her" I shuddered "that's messed up!" "Now let's go!" Rick urged everyone out of the building but Daryl stayed.

"Daryl, come on" I waved for him to follow but he looked at me with a sad smile. "I have to find ma brother" I gave a slight nod as he left in the opposite direction. I followed after him, I wasn't going to let him have all the fun and besides its been too long since I've seen Merle.

I hid around the corner of a building as Daryl turned down a road lit by fire at every corner. I crept slowly behind him just to be chocked to death with white smoke. "Daryl!" I coughed, trying my best to make out his outline somewhere.

In the distance I saw a shadow. Not aware if it was in fact Daryl, I pulled out my knife. We got closer to each other, when the shadow came in the clearing a sighed in relief "hi" but he stop as he took a couple of steps forward.

Out of the misty fog came a big fella, pointing Daryl's crossbow at his head. "Hey doll" I growled, nobody calls me doll "you made a big mistake coming in here and ruining our evening."

I smirked "we didn't ruin anything. Seeing your face ruined everyone's evening" he was about to step forward when his face dropped and he concentrated on Daryl.

"You have quite the little attitude don't you?" I frowned as the voice got closer to my ear. The hand that belonged to the deep voiced man got a lock of my hair and sniffed it. My head dropped but out of the corner of my eye I could see Daryl getting really anxious as he tried to get closer.

"Leave me alone" I said in a low, warning voice "what was that doll?" I frowned and looked up at Daryl, as if to telepathically tell him to get really for some serious whoop-ass. He gave a slight nod as I narrowed my eyebrows. "I said leave me alone!" I threw my head back with so much force that I knocked the guy out.

Daryl on the other hand forced his elbow into the other guy's stomach, grabbed his crossbow and without hesitation, he shot the guy in between the eyes. "Ooh. You ain't looking too good doll" I smirked before we took off running for the nearest exit.

There was a glowing in the distance, Daryl followed it light a moth to a flame, I knew it was a bad idea but I had to learn to trust Daryl. As soon as we reached the end of the road I instantly regretted ever letting Daryl run off. "Looks like we have some contenders!" I looked at Daryl and he looked as me. We then both stared at the crowds of people staring down at us. This was an arena and not very good one at that. "Everything's gonna be alright. I promise".....
