Never Make A Promise (TWD/ Daryl Dixon FanFic)

Me and Glenn played a friendly game of cards but if we were playing for money I would clear Glenn from ever single dime. Money's not worth nothing anymorebh, this jacked up world and its dumb ass god have ruined everything! (sorry if your a big god believer.)

The R.V suddenly came to an erupted stop, I looked out the window next to where I was sitting "they've got to be kidding right? its getting dark" I smirked at Glenn's worried rant "awe what's the matter? forgot your night light?" he glared at me but before he could say anything I ran out the door where everyone else was "you definitely remind me of Dzcixon" 'dixon?' my eyes widened as I spun round to Glenn but a Geek walked qright in front of me, snapping Whats left of its teeth at me.

I didn't have time to reach my knife and I went to grab my gun from its holster but it weren't there "Jamie!" I looked at Glenn and he was pointing to my left, 2 more geeks were stumbling towards me.

I looked back at Glenn over the geek's shoulder with terrified eyes. That's when an arrow went zooming past my head and into the geek in front of me, I turned around and saw Daryl pulling the string back on his crossbow and reloading it.

We all ran for the big glass building "hey! hey!" everyone minus me and Daryl were banging on the doors "let us in!" Rickax demanded "walkers" Daryl yelled grabbing everyone's attention "we can't be this close to the city after dark" Andrea said worriedly "there's someone here" Rick insisted "fort benning Rick, still an option" Shane said ignoring him. we all walked away defeated until Rick started again "the camera, it moved" "you imagined it" Dale muttered.

Rick started screaming bloody murder at the camera as me and Daryl tried to keep the 'walkers' as they call them, at a safe distance.

We were suddenly blinded by a white light then a man's voice called out "is anyone infected?" "one of our group was, he didn't make it" Shane looked to the ground "you all submit to a blood test, that's the price of admission" everyone nodded as my eyes grew wide "yeah, I'm gonna take my chances with the dead" I said starting to walk back outside "oh no your not" I was then being thrown over a shoulder "hey! put me down" I yelled, kicking and screaming "get whatever you need, once these doors close they stay closed" the man in a white science coat informed us but I was upside-down at this point so I had other things to worried about.

"Glenn don't forget my bag!" I yelled out to him as the science guy led the person holding me down a hall "wait here, I'll get the needles" I screamed at the word of needle "no! I ain't having one" I cried as I was being lowered into a chair "a tough chick like you can't even handle a little needle" I glared up at Daryl "I hate You so much words can't even describe it" "ok... bye" he was about to walk out "wait!" I called after him, he turned around "aren't You going to stay with me?" he raised his eyebrow "if you haven't noticed I'm kinda freaking out right now and would love some conform" I said the last part sarcastically "fine" he mumbled taking a seat next to me.

The awkward silent once again took a toll on us as we sat waiting for that sciencey guy "Dixon?" Daryl looked up at me confused "the Daryl Dixon" I smirked at the expression on his face "when I was 16 years old my brother had a friend and his brother was called Daryl...." I paused and looked up at him to see if he caught on yet. when his eyes went wide in realisation my smile widened "Jamie-Lee?" I nodded excitedly.

Before our conversation could continue the door Burst open and everyone came piling in chatting anyway to one another. Everyone paused and looked at me and Daryl "ok, whose first?" that's when I stood up and started to make a run for it.....

"No! No!" I screamed as I got seated in a chair, I tried to pull away "you'll never take me alive" I yelled closing my eyes "urm... Jamie, they just did" I opened one eye and glared up at Glenn. That's when I felt something prick my arm "son of a Bitch" I growled snapping my neck to the left "all done" I glared at the scientist "you're a dead man" Daryl joked to the scientist, he gave me a quick wink and I smiled up at him warmly before standing up.

I swayed a little suddenly becoming light headed, Jacquie quickly held me up "Woah, you alright?" I nodded "she hasn't eating in days, none of us have" Jacquie replied for me "well I think I can help with that" the scientist smiled "the name's Jenner by the way, Edwin Jenner"

I think the best episode of season one was when they were in the CDC. I loved it! Daryl is such a bad ass and did You hear? Norman Reedus is apparently a hugger!!! *Gasp* I know :) anyway, question.... what do you think is going to happen between Jamie and Daryl when they get some alone time to 'catch up'? tell me was you predict, maybe your right.....
