Poetry From The Heart

Hello.

Before you begin reading my inner most personal thoughts, I have a message for you.

First off, the cover that most likely drew you to this book was made by someone other than myself. I highly recommend you go and get covers made by her, she's absolutely the first person I will ever turn to for my covers.

Secondly, the poetry you see in this book starts from the age 15 and up. My writing skills and techniques, feelings, etc. will change over time. Hopefully you'll be able to see that.

Thirdly, my poems will not rhyme the majority of the time. Do not bash me in the comments asking why it doesn't rhyme because, news flash, not all poetry rhymes. Sorry hon. If you do decide to bash me, it's fine but I will throw this chapter in your face and I'm sure my supporters won't take it too lightly. I love you though.

Fourthly, please don't try and read more into my poems unless I specifically tell you in the author's note that there is a hidden message, I swear, I can't tell you how many times I had people ask me "So what are you actually trying to say?" Or "do you want someone to talk to?" I know you mean well but if I need help, I'll go to you or make it extremely clear that I need someone, I promise.

Every poem will end in an author's note, ending with me stating my name.

With that being said, thank you for taking the time to read this, if you read this far, comment "Poems don't need to rhyme." I just want to know who actually will read this.
