Thousands listened to your words;
Millions shed tears;
Billions were touched.
In the end it didn't even matter;
And we celebrate in peace,
Knowing you were the bravest among us.
We still shed tears and our fears will never disappear,
But now we have something more to live for.
We have your voice and your silly ways,
Remembering now the things you'd say, "Unicorns and lollipops," right?
We should have seen it coming but we didn't and you left us to feel this way.
Many took their lives to lay by your side; to stand and to sing the words you had so brilliantly.
Who cares if one more light goes out, right?
I fear we've proved we all do.
Your name makes us cry, knowing you were struggling and put that smile on your face.
You truly didn't like your mind.
With shaking hands, we tattoo you into our skins, to one day feel what was crawling in your skin.
Fear is how we fall;
The fear to accept what is real.
The fear to accept that you, Chester Bennington, are dead.
We love you, still.
And we will forever thank you for your inspiration.

I know the ending is a bit iffy, when I was writing it, my hands shook so bad to the point I couldn't write anymore without it looking like there weren't actually words.

So, here it is, for Chester Bennington...
