Helping us with ups and downs
Ins and outs
Before we drown
Into choices,
into words,
into voices
clearly heard.
Rebecca POV
I decided to talk to Mandi about my "boy troubles." She is clearly more experienced.
I walked into the room, the lights dimmed. I found Mandi nestled in her bed, reading a book. I couldn't make out what it was, but I seen she was crying so it was probably 'The Fault In Our Stars.'
She looked up at me,"Hey," she said.
"Reading TFIOS again, Mandi?" I asked and she nooded.
She turned the light on all the way and for a second it hurt my eyes adjusting to the brightness.
"Mandi, can I ask you about...boys?"
"Sure, what's up?"
"Well, I like Zac and now I'm starting to like James, so what should I do.?"
"Beck, you re really over thinking this. You're fifteen, you don't need a boyfriend. You don't need to choose. You can have a crush on both and make a decision when you're older. No boy is impotant right now. They won't be there for you always, but I will swear on my life I will always be there for you."
"Thank you," I said as I hugged my twin sister. I don't need to choose anymore, no boy is important in my life now, but my sister is. She will always be there when I need her to.
