The stars are countless,
just as my thoughts
of you
Rebecca POV
James asked me to the dance. I said yes because who else would ask me?
The dance was outside and It was really nice. The crisp air blowing my hair back and ruffling my dark pink shirt.
"'Misfits' was amazing, Rebecca." James said out of nowhere.
"Thank you."
"Why don't you like to read your poems aloud?"
"I just have stage fright."
"I actually just got stage fright, from crying like a little boy in front of everyone."
"It wasn't right he stole your poem."
"Well he was awful anyway, gotta give him that."
"I guess he was afraid his poem was gonna be bad and he stole your amazing one."
"Or he's a jerk." James blushed. "You think my poems are amazing?"
"Yes, I do."
"So are yours."
"Thank you," I blushed. "I especially love 'Stars.'"
"The stars are countless, just as my thoughts of you."
"See, James that's beautiful. You are the best writer in the world."
"I'm better then Shakespeare?" He joked.
"No, but any fourteen to eighteen year old, yes."
"Your poems are wonderful, much better then mine."
"James, yours are so much better."
"No yours are and I'm going to prove it."
"How?"
"You'll see."
Oh no.
