Don't judge me for my appearance

but judge me for my perseverance

Don’t judge me by my looks

but judge me for my books

Rebecca POV

Everyone cares now about what I look and act like, but I want  people to judge me by my writing not my looks. My poems really dig into my personality and I pour my heart out onto the page...Can’t anyone respect that? All people care about now is what clothes you are wearing, how much make up you have on, or how many boyfriends you had...or have. Why can’t they judge on personality or first impressions anymore? No one respects writing anymore and no one really cares. No one knows what it is like to write. You are free to let it go and never stop. You have this wonderful feeling that everything you write is real. Writing is my superpower. My poems speak the words I would never dare say to anyone.
