Chapter 12: It Starts Again

I sit at the chair.

I look up and close my eyes.

"My life really went through a hurricane, huh?" I thought

I look back down.

"Yoohoo!" a voice says

I bolt back up.

Traci.

Traci smiles.

"Why are you here?!" I yelled

"Well, I'm obviously following my family!" she said

I resist the urge to facepalm myself.

"Why are you here, seriously?" I ask again

She sighs.

"Do I need to repeat myself?" she says

I can almost feel the headache coming.

My mother comes back after talking with the workers at the counter.

I shove Traci away and run to her with my luggage.

"Uhhh ruuude." she said.

"Ready to go, Ryuuji?" she asks.

I nod.

Then an announcement comes on.

"Ermm... Flight #EAHU81 to New York, New York City, will be delayed for 30 minutes. Thank you for your patience." the voice says.

That was our flight.

I sigh.

My mother looks anxious.

"It's going to be fine.. We're going to be fine..." I said.

I get up.

"Where are you going?" she asks.

"To the bathroom," I respond.

I walk to the bathroom which is at the end of the airport.

There is a long line for the men's bathroom.

After a few minutes, I hear another announcement.

"Uhh... Sorry for the disturbance but flight #EAHU81 to New York, New York City will be delayed for 2 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience."

"Ughh.." I thought to myself.

I go in the bathroom and do my business like usual.

When I get out, I hear a big BOOM!

People scream and run.

I look around dumbfounded not knowing what has just happened.

Another boom.

And another.

And another.

Mass panic.

Then, a car rams through the door and goes straight for me.

Crap!!
