This isn't me trying to make up,
This is me saying I forgive you so I can move on.
I think it's about time I got myself together and looked at it with realistic eyes,
Instead of hate blinding me.
Honestly, you aren't that bad a person,
But I don't want to go back there.
I hope you've moved on with your life and you're happy.
I don't want to be your friend,
but I don't want to be your enemy either.
I just want mutual peace
So that's why I'm saying this.
Even though you probably won't read this,
It's the thought that counts.
And right now I can say it's the only thing that's been playing in my mind,
Over and over.
But now it's said and we can move on,
And leave this portion of our lives behind us.
