"my uh parents," Alex began,"they hurt me." his eyes stared down at his feet, getting watery as my eyes became wide. "and one day I walked past your house and saw your mom and dad drinking and just doing weird things. then, I saw you crying through the window. so I thought you might want to escape."

"you when to the same school as me, right?" I asked still shocked by his answer.

"yeah, I had the same history class."

"oh." I said realized that was him. he's was alway in the corner having always a hoodie and pants, even in summer. now I know why he always wore that. to hide all the bruises, scars, etc. I felt bad. for lying to him. "I wonder what they're doing now." I finally said breaking up the silences,"what were they doing about me being missing. did they do anything?"

"me too. those same questions swim in my mind like a dead fish." I sighed in confusion. "we keep going back to different subjects, but I know your were abused too, you don't need to hide it."

"I didn't want you to feel bad for me." I answered my eyes getting now watery. he sat up from the comfy bed, and looked at me.

"Macy, I will never stoping feeling bad for you. so, if you have anything else to say, say it now." I chuckled, but he took it serious.

"I have nothing else." i say confident as Alex lays back down next to me. he moved around a bit, getting comfortable.

"good. now lets go to bed its almost 1:30." he groaned.

"of course baby." I smiled putting my head in his chest.
