I laugh awkwardly. “Uhm… yeah… talk.”
“We were outside because she convinced me to show my face and she’s red because she called me a greek god.” He smirks. Jerk.
“Don’t remind me.” I mutter.
“So anyway, I think we need to go record some stuff for you guys!” Summer blurts out.

“I think we should go guys.”
“Yeah, Autumn probably wants to talk privately to me.” Zach smiles evilly. My jaw drops.
“You did not just…” I glare at him. “Now the fangirls are gonna think of something wrong! I’m gonna kill you.”
Zach stands up and runs upstairs. “Nope! Not today!”
“No, come here. Agh!” I bolt up and follow him. “You little jerk.”
“What a pair…” I hear Summer mumble. “Well, that’s it guys. We wouldn’t want to interrupt Grautumn in case they do something else in the other room.” What is she trying to say? Damn it, Summer.
I went in Summer’s room and Zach’s not there. He’s probably in my room then. I open my room door and find him pretending to sleep. “You doofus, I know you’re awake.” I throw a pillow at him and lie down on the bed as well, looking at the ceiling. “People are probably fangirling so hard right now. Do you know what Summer said?”
“What?” Zach says turning so he can look at me.
“Wouldn’t want to interrupt them if they do something else in there.” I did a girly voice imitation of what Summer said a while back.
Zach chuckles.
“Your laugh is so contagious, I don’t even know why.” I giggle.
“Is my laugh contagious, Autumn?”
I roll my eyes. “You always do that. Repeating what people say and making it into a question. You’re weird.”
“I know I am. Now sing for me because I wanna sleep.”
“It’s 2:30 PM! But, okay. Uhm.” I stood up and grabbed my guitar. I started strumming to Sparks Fly on a slower pace and he smiles up at me, closing his eyes. And then my stomach butterflies erupt. Uh, no.
“The way you move is like a full on rain storm and I’m a house of cards. You’re the kinda reckless that should send me running but I kinda know that I won’t get far. And you stood there in front of me just close enough to touch, close enough to hope you couldn’t see what I was thinking of.
“Drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain, kiss me on the sidewalk, take away the pain. 'Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile. Get me with those green eyes, baby, as the lights go down. Give me something that’ll haunt me when you’re not around. 'Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile.”
I stop there because I can hear him snoring lightly. I take a picture of him and go on Twitter.
TwinTwo: Help! There’s a robot on my bed! Why???
“Doofus, sleeping at my house.” I laugh quietly. I lean in and lightly kiss his forehead. “Sleep tight.” I stood up and walked out of my room and bumped into Summer in the process. I jumped and put a hand on my chest. “Jeez, you scared me.”
“What’s up?” She asked, eyebrows raised.
“What ‘what’s up’? You almost gave me a heart attack!” I shout whispered.
“The fuck are you whispering?”
“Zach’s asleep.”
“Oh, okay. Let’s go down?”
We go down to the living room. “What’s up with you and Zach?”
I sigh. “I honestly do not know. Can we not talk about this?”
“No, can you at least tell me if you like have a crush on him or something?”
I paled. “N-no! Of course not!”
She laughs. “Don’t lie to yourself, Autumn. That’s not true and you know it.”
“It is! I don’t like him like that.” I deny, biting on my bottom lip.
“I know you’re lying. You bite your lip when you lie.”
Do I like him? I admitted to myself that I do but I just can’t say it. It’s hard.
“Fine.” I sighed. “It’s hard to say but yeah…”
“Well, okay, good. The ship has sailed!”
“What do you mean? Zach doesn’t even like me.”
“Oh, you have no idea.” What? “Well, anyway. I have to tutor some kid soon. See you later. Enjoy.” She winks then gets out of the house.
I just sat there, thinking about my stupid life for half an hour then decided to check on Zach in my room.
I open my door to see that he was still asleep. I yawn. I’m tired, might as well sleep in Summer’s room. Just as I was about to get out of there, Zach speaks.
“Where are you going?” He mutters.
“I’m just gonna take a nap in Summer’s room…” I reply.
“No, stay here.”
“No, you sleep here and I’ll stay in Summer’s.”
“No, Autumn. You can sleep beside me.” He’s talking to me with his eyes closed. Rude. “We’re best friends, chill.”
“Ugh, fine.” I collapse on the bed beside him and fell asleep instantly.
