Tomorrow, we’re flying off to Seattle for PAX. I just can’t contain my excitement anymore. Zach and I haven’t talked even since the almost… kiss. It’s like he’s been avoiding me like crazy. I didn’t wanna call first, that would just be too clingy, right?
Right now, Summer went out to buy some random chips we could bring there so I’m home alone again. I’ve packed a few days ago and I’m just chilling in my room, reading a book.
“Autumn?” Somebody called. My door opened and Zach came in. “Hey.”
“Hey, how did you get in?” I sit up on my bed.
“Extra key.” He sits down beside me.
“Oh, right. So what brings you here?” This is super awkward…
“I – uh. I’m sorry I haven’t been talking to you these past few days. I needed time to… think.”
“About what?” Now I’m confused.
He paused. “About you, that almost kiss.” He looks at me straight in the eye. “And I realized how much I like you…” He said quietly.
Zach likes me?
“Autumn?”
“I – uhm, ah. I l-like you back…” I stutter. I’ve never really admitted my feelings for someone.
Zach beams at me. “You do?” He’s so cute.
“Yeah.” I blush.
He laughs and I push him.
“So, what now?” I say.
“Now, we kiss.” He leans in so our noses were touching.
“Really? I thought we were supposed to have a date first?” My eyes flicker to his lips then back to his eyes.
“No. I want to kiss you, right now.” He moves more, smiling.
“What if I don’t want to?” I tease him, moving backward a little.
“I can’t allow that, sweetheart.” He whispers then closes the gap between us.
Butterflies erupted in my stomach once our lips touched and I immediately smile. Finally. No interruptions.
He smiles against my lips as well then I pull away. He pouts at me.
“Hey, why’d you end it?”
“We wouldn’t want our first kiss to be a full on make out session.” I wink.
“Can our second one be?” He smirks.
I peck him on the lips and stand up. “Nope.” I stand up and grabbed the door handle.
Zach grabs my hand even before I could get out and slams me on the door. “Oh no, there’s no escape from me.” He growls then smashes our lips together. He pulls away after a while and starts kissing my shoulders up to my neck. I giggle.
“That’s my tickle spot! Stop!” I burst out laughing. I felt him smile against my neck. He then stops and looks at me with an amused look.
“You’re so adorable.” He grins.
My smile then fades when I realized that I ruined the moment. “Oh! We can continue now, if you want…” I look down.
He laughs. “It’s alright. I was gonna stop there anyway.” He pecks my lips and the butterflies erupt again. “Let’s go out.”
“Alright, but I gotta go change.” I was only wearing a tank top and sweatpants.
He nods. “I’ll wait downstairs. You might wanna cover that up, though.” He smirks then gets out of my room.
I look at myself in the mirror, confused. I check my neck. Oh no he didn’t.
I walked to my closet and picked out a crewneck sweater with a random pair of jeans and ballet flats. I didn’t bother with putting makeup anymore. I grabbed my phone and wallet and headed down.
“You’re lucky it’s not that noticeable.” I mutter.
He kisses my cheek then held my hand. “Let’s go for pizza.”

We spent the day getting pizza and just talking in the park. It wasn’t that romantic for a first date but, I didn’t really care. He brought me home at 6 in the evening where I was bombarded with questions.
“Where have you been?”
“Out with Zach… Why?”
“With Zach? Like a date?” Summer started giggling.
“Yeah…”
“Did you two kiss?”
“Uh - yes.”
“Holy shit! You did? Oh my god. I’m so proud of you, Aut! Did he ask you to be his girlfriend?”
“No but I don’t really care. He told me he likes me though, that’s all that matters for now.”
“Okay, then. Agh, I’m so happy! Grautumn! Grautumn! Yeah!” She fangirled. This is too funny.
“Alright, Summer.” I laugh. “What should I cook?”

After eating dinner, Summer and I just talked about how PAX Prime is already in 2 days and what we’ll be doing, pretty much. Then we both headed off to our rooms to sleep since our flight was early tomorrow.
I was so close to falling asleep when my phone buzzed.
Zach: You better sleep now!
Autumn: I was sleeping! :c
Zach: HA HA SORRY BABE SWEET DREAMS!
Autumn: Sleep now too. Goodnight! <3
Zach: Goodnight. :*
