okay, this is one I personally have never done, but see all the time:
"His brown orbs were staring me down"
Like, I'm sorry but no one says "orbs" in real life
Seriously have you ever heard someone go:
(PS in some fanfics they talk like this -_-)
"Wat color r ur orbs?"
"lolz mine r blue wat about urs bro?"
"My orbs r green"
"Cool"
"Ooooh that guy has brown orbs!"
Yeah.
And then there's the whole butterfly stuff.
"He gave me butterflies."
Everyone knows this saying but, whyyyyyyyy?
Like, if someone gives you butterflies don't eat them.
You don't wanna throw up.
and then there's
"My eyes fluttered open to the sunlight."
What are you a freaking butterfly?!
