Chapter 8 Farm or Castle?

I forgot to mention that Leo is about 6'2. Had some very handsome features and he has bright bleu eyes.

Hey! It's me again. When we left you we where screaming for our lives. I absolutely hated the ride. Jewel seemed to like it. I think she mite like Leo. I'm still not sure how I feel about the guy. I mean he seems nice and everything but the murderers always want you to think that! sorry I watch way to many horror movies. anyway enough of me let's get back to the story.

"Are we there yet?" I asked with my eyes tightly shut.

"Yes we're here." Leo told me "you can open your eyes now."

Then the car finally came to a stop.

"Wow this place is so cool!" Jewel said jumping out of the car. Leave it to Jewel to think a farm is cool.

"Wow this is like a dream!" she said enthusiastically.

"What kind of dreams do you have? All mine involve castles and fighting. This is lame." I said to her getting out of the car.

"Well what do you call that?" she said pointing behind me.

I turned around and there I saw a huge stone castle. Just like the one in my dreams. There was a stable off to the side, huge wood gates, a draw bridge,towers! I was flipping out.

"Oh my god!!!" I shouted "it's just like the one in my dream!"

"Oh so now it's not so lame?" Leo asked coming out of the car with a grin on his face.

"I... I guess not." I stuttered.

"Ok let's go. you can meet my grandfather." Leo said leading us in to the castle.

"Wow this place is amazing." I said dumbfounded.

"So where's you grandfather?" Jewel asked.

"In the great hall waiting for us. Come on let's go!" he said running ahead of us.

"Hey wait up!" Jewel said running after him.

"Guys don't leave me alone!" I said running after both of them.

I caut up to them in front of a tall red door. It had gold along the edges of the frame and big brass handles in the middle of the door.

"We're here!" Leo said pointing at the door.

"Wow look at this carpentry!" Jewel said stepping closer to the door. "This craftsmanship is the best I've ever seen." Jewel said admiring the door. She went on about stuff about wood but I tuned her out. She really likes stuff like wood work, mechanics, anything messy really.

"Entrée!" a voice behind the door said. as he spoke the doors opened i think it was french.
