Chapter 26 Shape shifting

Ok so to clarify it was not the boys who knocked us over. It was the pegasus. We decided (mostly against our will) to take the pegasus for a ride.

"What else was there?" I asked Jewel as we walked out of the stables

"We can summon an army?" she said fiddling with her neckless

"True. we can mind speak with each other and with our pegasus." I responded putting my arm around her shoulders

"We have amazing fighting skills"

"Yeah but that we kinda already knew that" I said not bothering to be modest

"True"

"Is that all?" I asked tapping my finger in my chin

"Ummm..... i think that's all that we know....."

We continued walking when we saw a play set and decided to go on it. It looked new. It was a big set so me and Jewel could go on it with out breaking it.

"I wonder if we have any other powers" I responded swinging on the swing

"If we do have more powers what do you think we have?" she asked sitting on top of the monkey bars

"It would be cool if I could shape shift and control fire." I said jumping off the swing and claiming up the slide

"I'd love to shape shift or control water!" she responded swinging off the monkey bars

"I wonder...." I said sitting down on my ass "Maybe we do have other powers we just haven't triggered them yet...."

"I think your right" Jewel exclaimed rushing back to the monkey bars "I think I have an idea"

"Jewel what are you doing?" I asked as she stood on top of the monkey bars

Next thing I knew Jewel jumped off the monkey bars and a Giant Eagle replaced her

"I.....I.....I" I was to shocked to say anything "H...How?"

The bird landed right in front of me. I was confused as fuck at that point. Suddenly the bird was Jewel again. Jewel was keeling on the ground looking down. She looked up at me grinning from ear to ear.

"What. The. Fuck." I said each word carefully and slowly

"That was so fucken epic!" she said jumping up and grabbing my hand

"JEWEL! YOU COULD HAVE FUCKEN DIED! HOW THE FUCK DID YOU KNOW THAT WAS GOING TO WORK!?!??!?!?!" I shouted at Jewel

"I didn't know if it was going to work. And I didn't die. So...." she said innocently "are you done yelling at me?"

"Yes. Now how the hell did you do that?" I said sitting back on my ass

"Remember how grandpa said that when we were born an eagle came and sat in front of the house all day until I was like 9?"

"Yea. but what does that have to do with anything?" I asked more confused then ever

"Ever since I was 5 I thought that there was something watching over me. I realized when I jumped that that eagle was like our guardian angle."

"And?" I asked wondering where she was going with this

"When I realized it was our guardian angel I transformed" she said standing up "watch. I'll try again"

She jumped off the platform we were standing on and when she landed on the ground she was a dog. Wait no she was a wolf!

Wooff!

"Holy shit! get the fuck back here!" I said standing up to make room for her to jump back on

"Ooff!" she said when she landed "I didn't know I could be a wolf"

"You are going to be the death of me one day" I said exhausted

"So I can shape shift. you try now!" she said pushing me off the plat form.

The first animal I though of was a bunny.(idk) I could feel my body shifting. Until I landed on the ground. I hoped a little till I heard Jewel laughing her head off.

"Really? a bunny? you couldn't be a mouse?" she asked clutching her stomach

I tried again. This time I became a white tiger. It took a lot longer then transforming into a bunny. I growled at her to get her to stop laughing.

"Now that's my girl!" she said sitting back down

"Ooff" I said as I transformed

"So shape shifting...." I said sitting beside Jewel "how are we not freaking out yet?"

"After all we've seen this doesn't surprise me." She responded lying back on her elbows

"What other powers do you think we have?" I said excitedly turning around to face her

"Powers over the elements?" she replied calmly

"Wait let me try something...."I

Said standing up and leaning against one of the posts

I shut my eyes and concentrated. I imagined orange and red flames dancing across my out stretched palm. Suddenly I heard Jewel clapping and I opened my eyes. When I opened my eyes I looked at my hand and there were flames dancing across it. I closed my fist and they disappeared.

"Nice one sis! my turn!" She said jumping up and doing the same thing I did.

A minute or so later there was a floating water ball flying just above her hand. She opened her eyes and smiled. She pointed her hand toward a near by bush and the water when straight to the bush.

"So I have fire, and you have water power? I said when she looked back at me

"Yup! I've always wanted powers over water!" she said smiling "I have an idea!"

"Oh no." I responded.

"I wonder if we can still mind speak if we are both animals" she said smiling mischievously

"I like where you are going with this. Continue" I said swinging my arm around her shoulder as we walked back towards the castle

"Well... we both transform and scare the fuck out of the guys" she said stopping

"I'm in! 1...2...3!" I said as we both transformed.

I transformed into a white tiger and Jewel transformed into a grey and white wolf. It took a lot less effort this time.

Testing 1....2...3

Fuck yeah!

Let's go!

And we both ran off towards the castle in search of the guys
