Chapter 23 Time for a swim

**Sapphire**

we walked out of the change room with towles and swim sutes.

"Ready?" i asked mitch looking down at him since he was sitting on the floor.

"Yup!" He said jumping up and walking towards the back door.

"wait up!" Leo said jumping up and running after him

'boys will be boys" Jewel said in sluggish

"That's for sure!" i said putting my arm around her shoulder.

**when they get to the beach**

"Hey! Put me down!" Jewel screamed as Leo ran up to her, picked her up and threw her over his shoulder

"What ever you want princess!" he said with a mocking tone as he dropped her in the water

"Dude you should run!" I said taking a step away from the water incase Mitch had any ideas

"Bye!" he responded taking off as fast as he could

"Leo! I'm going to get you for that!" She screamed jumping up and chasing after him

"AAAHHHHHH!!!!" I heard Leo scream as Jewel tackled him

"God she's fast!" Mitch said sitting on the sand

"Yeah. We're both on the track team at our school." I said sitting beside him (it's summer BTW)

"The only time I went to school was before the crash. Ever since then I've just been home schooled." He said looking away sadly

"Hey me and Jewel can help you out with school stuff. We were both peer tutors." I said placing my hand on his arm

"Really you'd hel-" Mitch didn't get to finish his sentence because Leo ran over picked him up and used him at a shield

"You can't use your brother as a shield!" I said jumping up

"I'm not your shield. Let me go." Mitch said squirming out of leo's grip

Once Mitch got free Jewel attacked Leo again

"Hey princess!" Leo said looking up at Jewel who was leaning over him

"Keep laughing pretty boy!" Jewel said in a warning tone

"Is she always like this?" Mitch whispered to me

"Sometimes. only to certain people." I said simply

"Aww thanks" Leo cooed pulling Jewel closer to him and started kissing her

"How about we leave the love birds alone?" I said walking towards the water

"Yeah. Good idea." Mitch said catching up to me "come on I wanna show you something"

"Ok"

**10 min later**

"We're here!" Mitch said extending his arms

"What am I supposed to be seeing?" I asked quizzingly

"Oops sorry wrong wall." he said walking over to another part of the hill side " TA DA!!"

When I walked over to him I saw a small water fall that was changing coulers from blue to green ect....

"Wow! this is so cool!" I said extending my arm to touch the water

"Follow me!" he said grabbing my arm and pulling me threw the water fall

We entered into a little cave

"Cool. Is this like your hiding place or something?" I said looking around the cave. It looked like a normal cave

"Pretty much. I figured we could just talk or we can go somewhere else if you want." He responded

"No I'd like to stay here for a bit" I said

We talked for about 20 minutes

I looked up at him and he started leaning in towards me. I leaned in towards him and our lips meet. I felt a shock go thought my body. We broke our kiss only to get some air. The feeling of his lips against mine are like a dream.
