Kiwi: Chapter Eighteen

Pagpasok namin sa loob, medyo mga bata yung kasama namin and I laughed so hard

"You asked for it" He said and I just rolled my eyes.

5th row kami from the top kasi mga bata na yung mga nasa low row namin and they're all excited to see the bears.

Bukas pa yung ilaw and I think we still have 15 minutes.

"Kim, tell me, what's with you?"

"Anong what's with me?"

"I mean, all of a sudden you asked me para magsupermarket and then suddenly to watch a movie?"

"I just want to kill time"

"Okay. But, I owe you this ha? I will make libre rin sayo some other time"

"Kay, whatever, just eat" kumuha siya amount of popcorn and sinubo niya sa bibig ko

Then may narining akong tumawa sa harap namin and some of the kids are looking at us na pala and napatawa sila sa ginawa ni Kim

"Salbahe yung kuya niyo no?" I asked them tapos tumawa ulit sila. I looked at Kim and kalma naman yung face niya.

The movie ended around 10PM and dumeretso na agad kami sa DORM. Pagdating namin, nasa lobby si Faye and Nick. Gulat na gulat silang magkasama kaming dumating.

"Oh, anong meron?" I asked.

"Should I ask you the same question?" Faye looked at us at mga pinamili namin.

"Ahh, Kim promised kasi na he will buy me the cereals na naiwan before sa supermarket remember?" I smiled "dumeretso lang kami don after school"

"Ahh, I see" then Faye looked at her watch "but it's already past 10PM. Don't tell me inabot kayo ng gantong oras kalate sa supermarket?"

"We watched movie pa" Kim butted in "bat ba ang dami mong tanong, daig mo pa si mommy eh" nanlaki mata ko kasi sounds childish.

"Hoy Kimpoy, una akong niluwal ni mommy kaya mas matanda pa rin ako sayo" tapos tumawa si Faye.

"Halika na" Kim pulled my right arm and shocked face sina Nick and Faye "we need to segregate pa yang pinamili baka may mapuntang item na hindi naman dapat sayo"

"Anong item eh puro pagkain naman to?"

"Exactly, baka may mapuntang pagkain na hindi naman dapat sayo"

He walked and kinaladkad na niya ako and I heard Nick and Faye laughing. Nagpunta kami sa kitchen. Binigay na niya saken yung cereals and some other snacks na binili ko kanina.

"You want this?" I looked and he's holding a box of cheese wafer stick

"If yes will you give that to me?"

"I can do that"

"Okay" then kinuha ko na yung box.

Bigla na lang niya kinuha yung plastic with his snacks and umalis na after. So, wala man lang dramatic na goodbye or whatsoever?

I smiled and I feel super kilig after mabasa yung message ni Kim.

WAIT. KILIG? SERYOSO?

"Fudge.." maybe I fancy him, a little? I appreciate his presence sa buhay ko lately and the way he acted like walang nangyari then magsesend siya sa akin ng ganitong message. Gosh, everything's so fluffy right now. Feels like I'm walking on marshmallow road kasi, kasi, ngayon ko lang nafeel yung ganitong feeling. It's fresh

The next morning, I feel so weak kasi, alam niyo na, hindi ako makatulog ng maayos. Hindi ko na nga nireplayan si Kim to avoid any unnecessary feelings pero the whole night lahat ng feelings na yon bumagabag sa akin. Nashook lang siguro ang damdamin ko and my body is coping up with the changes. Because it's the first.

I showered and changed na rin for the class na, wait. Classmate ko si Kim ngayon. *insert all fluffy hearts here*

Pagbaba ko ng room, saktong nakita ko si Kim holding a cup.

"Goodmorning" I smiled pero poker face lang siya "what?" I asked

"What happened to your face?" He asked

"I can't sleep. Boohoo" I cant sleep gawa mo!

"Okay" he said tapos dumeretso na sa kitchen.

Ganun lang? Ganon ganon lang? HMP. Goodmorning rin daw Cindy. Get out from that fluffy area kasi back to reality kana with the real villain na si Kim.

I decided na sa campus na lang bumili ng sandwich later since hindi pa naman ako gutom and 10mins na lang malalate na ako. I should have asked him if gusto niya sumabay sa akin papuntang school since classmates naman kami pero, shut up na lang ako kasi walang goodmorning diba?

"Gosh, Cindy, it's so petty, why are you acting this way?" I almost forgot about Jini.

"Sino namang kinakausap mo?" When I looked si Faye, grinning.

"Myself?" I laughed "I always talk to myself"

"I see. I also do that most of the times, lalo na kapag naguguluhan ako sa mga bagay bagay sa mundo"

"Same" then naglakad na kami sabay papunta sa campus.

"So, Cindy, saan kaba naguguluhan? Maybe I can help you"

"Ahheheh it's nothing, I can deal with this so petty lang naman"

"Okay but, if it's about my twin brother; I can help you, always"

"Ahhahaa? Ha? What do you mean?"

"I can see that you and Kim are getting close and I feel so happy and kilig at the same time"

"Where did you get that?" Okay, Cindy, act like you don't feel anything okay?

"Well, napapansin ko lang naman, from the party, after party and last night"

"Bumawi lang sa akin si Kim because of what happened sa supermarket last time. It means nothing naman. Well, I can say na, I think, we're friends and in good terms now. That's a progress" I smiled.

"Yes, that's a progress and I'm happy na naguusap na rin kayo and nagkakasama kahit wala kami ni Nick" she giggled

"Your twin brother is kind naman in some aspects and I really appreciate na bumawi siya sa akin kahit na for me, no need naman talaga na gawin yon"

"Kung hindi man siya bumawi, sasapakin ko siya at sasabihin ko na bumawi siya sayo, napaka villain niya sa mundong ibabaw nato" then Faye laughed so hard yung tipong hindi naman nakakatawa pero natawa ka dahil sa tawa niya.
