Kiwi: Chapter Three

After dinner, we stopped by a convenience store, Nick and Faye will buy supplies daw nila sa dorm. Wala pa naman akong kailangan so, I stayed outside and sat on the bench.

After few minutes, lumabas si Kim from the store then sat beside me. I just looked at him pero saglit lang then deretso na tingin sa kalsada. I can hear his loud breathing.

"I'm sorry about what happened earlier" I looked at him "I was just curious kung bakit, all of a sudden eh bigla kang lilipat sa dorm and since you and Nick are hanging out together, I thought that you have agenda or something" he explained.

"Do you really think that I will waste time doing something na makakasira sa isang relationship?"

"Yes. I mean, you have that aura kasi"

"Napakastraight forward mo naman" I sighed "give warning next time"

"Why? Don't you want honest opinion about you? I'm not good with sugar-coating. I say what I want to say"

"Naah. I was just taken aback" I said then smiled again

"But, sorry again, okay? I don't know anything about what you are going through and I judged you suddenly. Well, it's okay if you'll not forgive me. I was just thinking that, maybe you wanted to hear me say that word"

"It's okay and thanks for apologizing"

"I see why Nick is always helping you.."

"What do you mean?"

"Sobrang maawain kasi yung tao, kaya siguro he can clearly see if someone needs help or something"

"I see" kinakaawaan? Talaga bang ganun na ako mukhang kawawa? Like, may nakasulat bang hopeless sa noo ko para tulungan ni Nick? "Eh ikaw ba?" he looked at me

"Anong ako?"

"Ngayong alam mo na situation ko, kakaawaan mo rin ba ako?"

"Are you kidding me Cindy? Hindi ako si Nick" he replied tapos tumayo na siya from the bench.

At the same time, Nick and Faye got out from the store and they're looking at us. Medyo naging awkward yung situation naming apat for a moment.

We are walking silently when Faye dropped the bomb. She was walking with Nick ahead of me and Kim. She stopped and tumalikod siya sa amin "What happened to you both?" We all stopped from walking.

"Ha?" I asked "Wala. Why?"

"Why you so awkward nung lumabas kami sa store? Wait, did you guys kissed?"

Lahat kami nagulat sa tanong ni Faye

"Faye? What kind of question?" Nick asked and then laughed.

"Eh, that's the first thing na pumasok sa isip ko eh"

"You and your out of this world imagination" Kim said "can we go back to the dorm? Peacefully?" he asked and walked straight us.

DORM

"I'm sorry Cindy, kung ano anong pumapasok sa isip netong si Faye eh" Nick

"Hindi kayaa..." Faye replied defending herself.

"It's okay. We're cool" I said

"So, are you gonna be okay?" Nick asked me

"Ay oo naman" I smiled

"Okay. So let's all sleep peacefully tonight" Nick smiled tapped my head then ginulo yung buhok ko.

Lahat kami nagulat sa ginawa niya. Even himself.

"Tssk. I'll go ahead" Kim said tapos dumeretso na siya papunta sa guys hall.

"Ah, sige. Kami rin" Nick said tapos hinigit si Faye na nakatingin pa rin sa akin with her curious face tapos tingin na ulit kay Nick.

I was about to say goodnight pero naalala ko yung nangyari. What the fuck Nick, what did you do? In front of Faye and Kim?

"erase erase erase. I'm getting crazy. ERAAASE!"
