Kiwi: Chapter Nineteen

Naghiwalay na kami ni Faye sa lobby and dumeretso na agad ako sa lecture room. I sat malapit sa window because I really like the view and the sunrays. I can always feel na it's a good thing to be alive.

Dumating na yung prof and at the same time dumating na rin si Kim. Umupo siya sa likod, malayo sa akin.

Okay. As if naman may magbabago after what happened last night. Talagang bumawi lang siya sa akin at pinatunayan niyang hindi niya ako hate. If you're going to compare sa mga crimes yung statement niya na hindi niya ako hate, yung nangyari last night was the evidence about it. Phew.

I should stop feeling this way. Ang ending nito baka masaktan ako. Cindy, you have to remind yourself that Jini exist and just by looking at Kim, you know he will do everything to take her back. Yung tipong ang lahat ng haharang mawawasak.

Nagkaroon na naman ng take home quiz and this time, by pair. Medyo maraming questions and we have something to read and our answers will technically be our reaction. We ended up being team mate kasi yung prof naman yung namili for it. I lowkey wish na siya, not because I fancy him a little but because, syempre, we live in the same building and in the same circle of friends, mas madali kaming makakapagwork together. Okay. I lowkey wish na siya maging partner ko because, I like the idea na kami magpartner and imagine all the exchange of ideas that we will have diba? S H I T. I'm h o p e l e s s.

After class, Kim hurriedly leave the lecture hall, inisip ko na lang na baka may next class agad siya and hello, Cindy? Required magpaalam sayo? HAHAHAH ang funny mo.

Saktong paglabas ko ng lecture hall, I saw Kim standing sa may pinto

"Fudge. You scared me. What are you doing there?"

"I forgot to tell you na we'll work later tonight para sa take home quiz"

"Okay. Kahit di mo sabihin, I will definitely work talaga para don later"

"Good" tapos umalis na agad siya.

Pwede naman siyang pumasok ulit sa room, what is he doing? If lagi siyang ganito, feeling ko matatalo ako ng sarili ko.

The wholeday was okay. As usual, we had lunch together. Ang weird no? We don't usually see each other sa campus pero kapag lunch, we always text each other para sabay sabay kaming apat kumain. And, I'm thankful sa presence nilang tatlo, you will never feel na you're alone. Thank you mom for giving me such wonderful friends.

"So, saan tayo magdidinner later tonight?" Nick asked. "Do you want pizza again?"

"Naah, Nick, can we cook something?" Faye asked

"What to you want?"

"Anything, basta, I'm not in the mood para lumabas. I don't feel well"

"Do you have period ba?" Kim asked

"Tse!" Faye replied. Well, that explains.

"We also have take home quiz. Medyo mahaba siya this time. Kim and I needs alot of time" I said

"You need to work hard together?" Faye asked. I nodded "together talaga?"

"It's a take home quiz and magkagroup kami" I explained

"Ah, I see. I thought" Faye tapos she giggles. Patay malisya na lang ako kasi I don't want this lunch to be awkward which is papunta nga doon.

That night, I hurriedly fix myself and bumaba na sa wifi area and I saw Kim waiting.

"You're late. It's 8pm na ano pang magagawa natin"

"Sorry ha, kakauwi ko lang because I have thesis pa e" I sat beside him

"Hurry up, I want to sleep early"

"You can. Let's work together muna then if you're sleepy na, matulog kana. I can finish this naman without your help" I said. Nakakasar, nagmadali na nga ako ganito pa.

"I was just kidding" I looked at him and I saw his tired face which is cute.

CINDY WAKE UP! HE'S NOT CUTE! HE'S ANNOYING!

"mabuti naman" I said tapos I looked away and binuksan ko na laptop ko.

"Oh" he handed me a paperbag na may mixed rice.

"Binili mo?" I asked then kinuha kona agad because I'm so hungry.

"Nope, dala nina Faye"

"Oh, I thought they're going to cook something tonight?"

"Eh mood swings si Faye, kaya yan"

"Okay" tapos tumawa ako and he just looked at me with the its not funny face. Basag aura talaga to minsan e. No, hindi minsan. Madalas.

We worked together while eating kasi we don't have much time. I know the next next day pa to but full major subjects si Kim tomorrow and I will work on my thesis naman. It's our only time.

We stopped at number 11. We still have 9 more questions to go.

"I'm so tired" he said tapos he put his head sa arm niya looking at me "aren't you tired?" he asked

"No" I said and looked at him and he's sleeping na already?

I moved closely para tignan facial features niya. His nose is fine, ang cutie ng eyelashes niya then yung lips niya.. I want to touch it so bad feeling ko manyakis ako.

"Oh?" he said

"Oh?" I reply

"What are you doing?" I forgot na ready to attack na pala left fingers ko to touch his lips.

"Nothing, there's a fly lang and tinaboy ko lang heheheh"

I was about to look away pero kinuha niya yung left hand ko and inch apart na lang kami.

"Tell me the truth" he whispered "I want to know"

"Ano ba? I just told you may fly. That's it" at the same time, hinigit ko yung kamay ko. Whatdjfl;jdaj;ad diba? I don't know what to do.

He stood and "CR lang" he said

"Okay"
