why does everyone simply accept
that the world has a boiling core?
why do we not wonder at the
authenticity of our teachers knowledge?
wonder at this wonder
we know nothing about
how can this massive heat be
sustained so steady
so soft
so solid
to not even warm us in the least?
why haven't we yet been boiled alive
by mother earths wrath so furious
that it burns a thousand degrees bright?
why have we not died yet?
