Chapter 15

HAYES POV:

I feel bad about what I did.

I honestly feel like the most confused piece of stupid to ever walk this earth.

I don't know whether I deserve to be forgiven of not.

Well, of course I don't deserve to be forgiven. I mean, I probably would forgive anyone if they did that to me.

I can't forgive myself. I don't know what to do about this.

I think I need to go home. I need to think.

I grab my phone and call Mom. She'll know what to do.

"Hello?" She says.

"Hey Mom." I reply.

"What's up? Is something wrong?" She asks.

"Well. I don't know. I'm just confused and I think I need to come home."

"Ok, I'll book the next flight for you and Nash to come home."

"Thanks Mom." I say and hang up.

I exhale loudly.

I hear a knock on the door.

"Can I come in?" Nash says through the door.

I open the door and sit on the bed.

"Hey. What's up? You look sad." Nash asks.

I sigh. "I called Mom. We're leaving on the next flight to North Carolina."

Nash put his head against the wall and blows air out of his cheeks.

He sighs. "Ok. I'll go pack." And he leaves.

NASHS POV:

I walk out of Hayes room.

My shoulders are slumped.

I don't want to leave.

We just got here a few days ago and we already have to leave!

Also, I just got together with the love of my life.

And now I have to leave.

"Hey."

I look up and see Hannah standing leaning against the door with her arms crossed.

She has a frown on her face.

"Hey." I reply.

I walk over to her and lace her fingers into mine.

I rest my forehead against hers and a tear rolls down her cheek.

She knows that we may not be able to see each other for a long time.

I wipe her tears away with my thumb.

"You know that we can still FaceTime and Skype right? Everyday." I whisper into her ear.

She just nods.

After about a minute she whispers under her tears, " I can't lose you. I just can't lose you."

"I can't lose you either." I say and pull her into a hug.

"And I won't lose you. Because I can't stop loving you. I never will." I whisper and we say goodnight.
