No Ones P.O.V.
Team Voltron had been working hard for the past couple weeks. They had liberated 17 more planets from Galra rule and been training like their lives depended on it. Oh wait. They do. Anyways, the team was exhausted, especially Lance. He had had almost no sleep the past couple weeks because of all the missions and battles as well as his great secret. The team knew that Lance missed earth and his family, however, the big secret that Lance kept was that he really really missed music. He had had a guitar when he had lived at home on earth, but when he was launched into space with the rest of the paladins, they didn't have the choice to bring things along other then themselves and what they had on them in that moment. Lance missed his guitar so much.

It was on another one of those sleepless nights that Lance had gotten up and went to the training deck, but instead of training he just stared at the bot and talked to it. He told it he missed earth and his family. He told stories of how he used to play the guitar for his younger siblings and how the family bonded over music. He spoke of his birthday and the songs his family had sung and how he doesn't expect anything like that up here in space. The night continued on with Lance pouring his heart out to the bot. Little did he know that another paladin had woken up to go train some frustration away and was currently outside the door listening to every word with a frown. Keith knew exactly what he was going to get Lance on his birthday and make sure no one forgot about it for the red paladin may have a tiny crush on the self proclaimed sharp shooter.

Lance woke up to the sound of the ship blaring the alarm. At this he jumped out of bed and dressed in his suit before waking down the hallway to the main room. When he got there it was dark and he didn't hear any voices.

"Hello? Guys this isn't funny the alarm is going off we have to get into.." but before he could finish his sentence he was cut off by a "SURPRISE" coming from the whole team as the lights flipped on and Lance could see the place covered in streamers and glitter.

"Happy Birthday Lance!" Sang everyone. They all then proceeded to hand Lance different gifts. They were all so sweet. He appreciated all the gifts so much. Then came the one he was most excited for. Keith handed Lance an unusually large box in red wrapping paper. As Lance opened it his eyes lit up and the biggest smile Keith had ever seen plastered itself on his face. "Where did you get this" was all Lance could come up to say as he held the beautiful acoustic guitar in his hands like a baby.

"I saw it at the space mall and thought of you because I know you love music" replied Keith with a smile.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so so so much. This is amazing. Thank you everyone I can't believe you all remembered I'm so happy thank you" rambled Lance as he stared at the guitar. Keith had gotten it for him. He thought Keith had hated him.

"You should thank Keith not us. He was the one that pulled it all together" sang Pidge with a smirk hidden in an innocent smile. They knew how much each liked each other but the boys just couldn't fess up.

Lance glanced up at Keith and pulled him into a bear hug. "Thank you Keith. This means so much to me" Lance whispered almost in tears.

"You're welcome sharp shooter. Anything for you. And since I got you the guitar how about you show is your skills" said Keith.

The rest of that day consisted of Lance playing for the team and the team singing along and just laughing. Later that day Lance went into his room and lay on the bed with a huge grin. "Best birthday ever" where his last thoughts as he fell into a deep sleep.
