Your were dumbfounded by your discovery as you rubbed your eyes and blinked, even pinching yourself to assure that you were awake and not dreaming again.
"How is this possible... my dream saw my future? What the hell is going on with me?" You said to yourself as you glanced around to make sure no one was around. You walked up to the statue, a strange feeling compelling you to touch it, just like your dream. You slowly reach out your hand and lean forward, though quickly pulling it away and looking at it. "Should I? I mean... my dream has been correct so far so I know what happens if I touch it but... is it really right to follow my dream since all of this just seems so... weird." You finished as you glanced at the statue again. You sighed before shaking your head and giggling to yourself. "Oh who am I kidding, it's just a hunk of stone! What's the worst that could happen?" You rolled your eyes as you reach out, slowly letting the pads of your fingers touch the rock, then pressing your palm completely flat to it as you flinched ready for the bright flash of blue fire. Though nothing happened.
"Ha, see (Y/n)! It was just a silly dream that just happened to tell the future... which is still really weird," you reasoned with yourself as you shook your head, leaning back from the statue and taking your hand away. As soon as your hand disconnected from the stone, your vision was blinded by a blue light that caused you to scream and fall over, shielding your eyes. The light slowly died down and you sat up, blinking in shock and trembling a bit as the smoke and flames dissipated to reveal a shocking scene. There sat a man, maybe a year older than you, with blonde and black hair, a triangle eyepatch over his left eye, and dressed in a yellow tailcoat with an odd looking brick design. He had a black bow tie, gloves, pants, shoes, and top hat which floated inches above is head. He sat there, rubbing his head and groaning slightly as he began to come to, only now did you notice the statue was no where to be seen. What the hell was this?
"Um... who the hell are you? Where did you come from? Where did that statue go- okay just what the fuck is going down here?!"
"Woah, woah, woah, you think you could keep it down there, my brain is going crazy and all I hear is ringing... ugh..." he trailed off as he finally blinked his one visible eye open. His pupil was thin and black, you stared as all you could think is, 'that's just unnatural...'.
"Mind explaining what the fuck just happened Mr. Magic Brick Man?"
"First off, don't ever call me that again unless you don't want teeth anymore. Secondly, I- WHAT THE HELL?!" He said as he looked down in himself and began grasping all over his body. He stood up and began slightly panicking in shock as you stood and watched in a world of confusion.
"I'm a fleshy?! How can this be?! This wasn't what was supposed to happen when I was revived! This doesn't make any sense I- wait a second." He stopped mid sentence and turned to you as you blinked at him. He looked at where the statue had been only minutes ago and then back to you. "Where you the one who touched it?"
"Touched what?" You asked as he pointed to you.
"Don't play dumb with me fleshy, the statue that was here! Did you touch it?"
"First of all, we are human not a 'fleshy' or whatever the hell you were saying. Second off, yeah I did touch it. What of it?"
"You realize what you did right?"
"Nope, I have no clue. I touched it, I moved away, it blew up, and now I'm getting yelled at by some freak in a yellow tailcoat and an eyepatch. I don't really know what to think." You threw your hands up in the air and plopped onto a rock nearby as the man let out a chuckle.
"You obviously have no idea who I am then."
"No idea, mind telling me?"
"The names Bill, Bill Cipher. I'm a pretty infamous dream demon around these parts," he said as he began to levitate of the ground, laying down in the air and putting his hands behind his head. "At least I still have my powers in this form..." he huffed as you stared at him wide-eyed and with a face full of mixed emotion.
"B-Bill... Cipher?" You mumbled out as you stood up and stumbled back, your instincts telling you to get as far away as you could as soon as you could.
"Does the name ring a bell? Seems too judging by how quick your mood switch was! Haha! So," he snapped his fingers and disappeared in a cloud of blue smoke before you felt a gloved finger on your cheek, "what's your name cutie~?"
"Ahh!" You jumped away as you turned around, seeing him behind you. He laughed as he leaned back into the air. You gulped as you watched him gather himself, then looking to you with a sly smirk.
"Awe come on, at least give me your name! What's the worst I could do with it?" He said making an innocent face as he chuckled.
"I know better than to mess with demons like you! I'm not as dumb as the rest of humanity these days!" You said standing your ground. You weren't going to give this demon what he wanted, not before you got answers to your questions at least.
"Alright, alright, I can take a hint. What do I gotta do to learn your name, sweetcheeks?"
"Tell me what the hell just happened here and maybe I'll tell you my name," you said, crossing your arms and plopping down on the rock once more. He gave you a soft glare before nodding and sighing in annoyance.
"Fair enough. Well, as I stated, I'm Bill Cipher. That statue you touched? Yeah, it was mine... or me... whatever. I've been trapped in there since last summer, and lemme tell ya' toots, it has not been fun. Though there was a way to free me, but only a being with a troubled soul could do it. Then you scurried along out here and touched my statue and POOF - I'm me again though... that incantation didn't say anything about me becoming whatever being touched my statue," he said pulling at his bow tie, adjusting it slightly. "Though I have to say I don't mind the look all that much," he chuckled.
"Okay... that was informative in a way I suppose. Well my name is-"
"(Y/n). Your name is (Y/n) (Y/l/n) and you are (age) years old. You actually live in (Town/State/Country), but you are visiting your Uncle Robby and staying with him in Gravity Falls for the summer. Need I say more?" He said floating over to you and tapping in your nose with a large grin. Your face paled and you backed away some as you blinked, wide eyed and a bit at a loss for words.
"Y-You can-"
"Read your mind? Of course I can! I'm an all knowing dream demon! I'm master of the mind, you really think I didn't know your name as soon as I looked at you?" He laughed and snapped, disappearing in smoke again before you felt a hand on your wrist and another hand slowly turning your chin to look at the demon who stood behind you, his body barely pressed to yours. "You are definitely a sight for sore eyes (Y/n)," he said before you jumped away again, shoving him slightly.
"S-Stop doing that you creep!" You said, crossing your arms over your chest, though not being able to contain the blush on your cheeks. You never were good at taking compliments, wether from a pervy demon or another human.
"Now I have been called many things, but 'creep' is a new one surprisingly." He said, effortlessly beginning to levitate again.
"Yeah, well you are definitely a creep."
   "Thank you, darling!"
   "Don't call me that."
"Duly noted, sweetie." He said as he fluffed his hair and took off his hat, dusting it off and then plopping it back above his head. "Now if you don't mind, I have places to burn and people to torment for the time being. I'll be back, don't miss me too much, sweetheart~!"
"I won't miss you at all, don't flatter yourself Cipher." You said, rolling your eyes and turning away from him.
"Aren't you a cold one, I like it, don't wait up~! Oh! Do say, 'Hi' to those adorable twins for me! I'm sure shooting star and pine tree miss me! Bye!" You heard him laugh, turning around to confront him one last time to see nothing but a cloud of blue smoke. You blinked as you looked around, the demon no where to be seen as you turned to the bushes behind you, seeing Mabel and Dipper popping out of them.
"(Y/n)! We've been looking for you! We lost the gnomes, your plan worked!" Mabel cheered as she walked up to you.
   "Y-Yeah, it did, didn't it?"
"You okay... you look kinda pale and disturbed." Dipper asked, tilting his head at you.
"Yeah I'm fine, I was just worried about you two is all! Now that I know yo used okay I'm all good! Ahh... what do you say we head back to the shack and we can play a game or watch a movie?" You said, covering your internal panic and worry about the recently released dream demon.
"Yay! Movie time!" Mabel yelled as she grabbed you and Dipper's hands, pulling you both in the direction of the shack as you both laughed at her excitement. You took one look back at where the statue once sat, the spot now empty due to your curiosity. You had only one thought clouding your mind: What will happen now that Bill Cipher was free again?
