You groaned as you opened your eyes, slowly blinking as you adjusted to the light of the evening sun shining in through your room window's. Your head pounding as you rolled over in bed, a sigh escaping your lips as you audibly whined. The back of your neck stung as you slowly sat up, rubbing your eyes and beginning to really come to. You felt like you had fainted or had just woken up from a really intense nap. Knowing yourself, you guessed it was probably both.
Your train of thought crashed when you heard another groan on the floor in the room. You snapped your head to see Bill, on the floor, slowly waking up and massaging his temples as he hissed in pain. Your eyes widened as you blinked at him, he was physically there, this was no dream. Meaning your deal had been made, sealed, and worked. The Attachment had begun.
"Hey, you doing okay there Cipher?" You asked as you giggled softly. He whipped around in shock at the sound of your voice and smiled. This was no grin or smirk, it was a real, genuine, smile.
"It worked! It really worked! The Attachment was fulfilled! Oh (Y/n) I feel... surprisingly tired." He suddenly said as he stood up and stumbled over to you, laying on the bed of your bed.
"But you're a demon, I though you didn't need sleep or food or any of the stuff us humans use for subsidence," you said as you smirked a bit.
"I suppose along with Attaching to your soul, I gained human qualities well as keeping all of my demonic abilities. I'm like a super human... that still requires sleep and food. Luckily my demonic powers can assist me there," he said as he snapped, making a sofa and sandwich appear in his hands as he took a bite of the food and hummed happily.
"Pssh, well that's just unfair," you said crossing your arms. He looked at you as he floated and sat up on the edge of the bed before plopping back down.
"What? You want one?" He said with a full mouth and a snap as a sandwich appeared in your hands. You laughed at first and then shrugged, taking a bite, it was free food after all.
"Not bad Cipher, but that's not what I wanted. I mean it's unfair that you get your powers too," you commented as you ate. He nodded and then shrugged.
"I guess, I mean I can get hurt just like you can and I can die... well... lose a physical form like you can die. So I'm not invincible, I just have some extra defense and offense shoved up my sleeve," he chuckled as he took a sip of his soda. You nodded in understanding as you wiped your mouth.
"So it's not all that unfair, that's good to know," you said as you hissed suddenly in pain, that back of your neck stinging again. "Hey Bill, does your neck hurt at all?"
"Now that you mention it yeah, it does." He said as he turned around and moved his collar, "See anything?" He asked as you gasped. There was a rose symbol, burned into the back of his neck. You reached out and brushed it with your fingertips as he flinched. "What is it?"
"There's a rose seared into the back of your neck... Rose is my middle name and favorite flower... check mine." You demanded as you turned around and lifted your (h/c) hair. Bill gasped a bit and nodded, as you turned around.
"There's something on you too, it's a triangle with one eye, my original form." He said as you looked at each other.
"It's a symbol of the Attachment, isn't it?"
"That's my best guess," he said as he rubbed his mark bit. "Well, I guess that's a thing," he said as he shrugged and continued eating a bit. "So whatcha' gonna tell the kiddo's?" He asked out of no where, beginning to float again.
"Oh right... Dipster and Mabes. I can't tell them that you're-"
"Me. You can't say I'm Bill Cipher or they will never trust you again. I already know that. So tell them I'm someone else."
"You're name is Dillon Piper. You can be my best friend who was supposed to come to stay with me for the summer from (State/Town/Country). You were a week late because you had to help your aunt move. I call you 'Dill' for a nickname. Work for you?"
"Dillon Piper? I like it, cleverly disguised but in plain site at the same time. Though won't they think it's weird I have one eye?" He asked as he pointed to his eye patch. You tilted your head and nodded.
"Yeah they will. Though not after you tell them about your traumatic boating accident they won't," you said with a wink and a smile. He chuckled evilly as he nodded. He then looked at himself and shook his head as he snapped his fingers.
The blue smoke disappeared and you nearly dropped your sandwich. Bill was now dressed in a yellow, long-sleeved shirt that was half covered in a brick pattern with a small, printed bow tie near the collar with his black pants, and black shoes. He no longer had gloves or a top hat, though his eye patch now looked normal and black, no longer in a triangle shape. His hair and devilish grin remained the same, though for the first time, his pupil turned to a normal size, making him almost look innocent.
"What do you think? Does it suit me?" He said with a wink, causing you to blush.
"Yeah, it's perfect actually." You said with a small smile as you began getting up out of bed to see you were still in your clothes from earlier. You looked to the corner of the room to see your belongings huddled neatly there. "Huh... Stan must have carried me to my room from the car earlier. That little chat of ours must have had me out cold." You said as he nodded.
"Probably, But you must have been already in here when the deal was made because I was right beside you when we woke up... well I was on the floor but you get the gist."
"Yeah, you have a point. Oh! Another thing. You cannot use any demonic or supernatural abilities around anyone but me! You also can't call Dipper and Mabel, 'Pine Tree' and 'Shooting Star'. They would know it was you right away, disguised or not. He nodded as he began to levitate around, turning upside down and grabbing his toes as he smiled at you like a dork.
"Betcha' wish you could do this too? Don't cha'?"
"Nope, not really. I'll pass on being damned for eternity. Now teleport yourself outside and give yourself some luggage, ring the doorbell. We gotta make this reunion nice and heart melting, so prepare for some gushy stuff! Though most of all act normal, I mean it Bill Cipher," you said with a soft glare.
"That's Dillon Piper to you, miss (Y/n)," he said with a wink and a finger gun before he snapped his fingers and left with a cloud of blue smoke. Next thing you heard was the doorbell ring. You popped out of your room as Dipper and Mabel rushed down the stairs, saying hi to you as they answered the door, both of their faces contorting in confusion.
"Who are you?" Dipper asked as he eyed the luggage and looked up at the male.
"Is (Y/n) (Y/l/n) around? She said this is where she would be..." he said with a worried tone as he looked inside the doorway.
"Who's asking," Mabel said with a small glare.
"Twins? Who's at the door- D-Dillon? Is that you?" You said as you popped around the corner, a smile coming to your lips as you got closer.
   "(Y/n)!"
"Oh my gosh! Dillon it is you!" You said, running up to the twins and moving past them to engulf him in a loving hug.
"I could get used to this, my sweet (Y/n)." You heard him say in your mind as you scoffed at him through yours.
   "In your dreams, Cipher."
"I missed you so much (Y/n)! I'm so sorry I came late, Aunt Patty needed help moving so I got stuck at home!"
"It's no trouble at all, Dill! Twins," you said turning to them as they smiled happily. "This is my best friend, Dillon Piper. He'll be staying with me all summer long so I hope you all learn to get along! Dill, this is Mabel and Dipper Pines. These kids saved my life," you said as you ruffled their hair as they laughed.
"Nice to meet you guys, I can't thank you enough! I don't know what I would do without (Y/n)! I'd probably die," he said with a laugh, though you know full well that it was meant to be a joke to you. You inwardly sighed as you gave a slight forced laugh at his comment, playing it off. This was going to be a long summer, and it was only the beginning.
