"Scott, dude, I just found this awesome store called 'Fanmania'. From the looks of it, it sells all kinds of media merchandise." Stiles looked inside the store window and gaped, phone pressed to his ear as he talked to Scott. "Woah. Dude. There's a cute girl inside too! She's the cashier I think. All I know, is I have to get her number."
"That's a terrible idea. She's probably taken." Scott said on the other end, fixing up lunch for him, Allison and Isaac. He felt arms slip around his waist and smiled a bit. "Have fun failing terribly. Maybe she'll give you a pity discount." He teased.
"Shut up, man. I hope you can't sit tomorrow." Stiles huffed. "I'll talk to you later when I have her number." He puffed his chest up in confidence.
"I'll expect no call then. Love you man, see ya." Scott hung up with a grin and shoved Isaacs bowl into the hungry werewolf face from behind.
Stiles stood outside the store for a few moments before bracing himself and going inside. He spared a few glances at the cashier girl, trying to be subtle as he looked around. He ended up with a Spider man hoodie in hand. He had one, but he was starting to outgrow it with its food stains and worn out fabrics.
Stiles walked up to the cashier, clearing his throat nervously and forcing himself not to fidget as he gave the hoodie to the girl.
You looked up at Stiles and laughed softly at the hoodie.
"Nice." You remarked with a grin. You scanned it. "Seven fifty." Stiles forked over the money and you watched him pick it up as you put away the cash. "Let me see." You placed your elbows on the counter, chin on your hand.
"Pardon?" Stiles furrowed his brows. He hadn't even been able to get his pick up line out yet.
"I wanna see you wear it." You smirked. "I bet you'd look good in it." Stiles blinked. Stiles was not about to refuse the pretty girl asking him anything. So he unzipped the hoodie and pulled it on with an awkwardly adorable smile.
"So, uh... Look good?"
"Definitely. Does this make me your Mary Jane?" You joked, surprised when Stiles gaped and blurted out,
"Marry me." Laughter bubbled out of your throat, eyes sparkling with humour.
"How about a date first?"
"Yes! Yes- wait, you want to- you want to go on a date with me? This isn't a joke, is it? Not a pity date?"
"No. No pity date." You giggled. "If you make the date worth my time, I might just let you give me the famous Spiderman kiss." Stiles nodded his head like a bobble head.
"I would love to do that." Stiles said with conviction, making you laugh. You picked up a marker from off the counter and took his hand, writing on his hand. "Text me." Stiles was still nodding, shocked as you waved him off and out of the shop.
Stiles called Scott.
"Dude."
"Yes, Stiles?"
"She gave me her number."
"Wait, really?" Scott almost choked on his food. "She gave her number to you?"
"Yes! Don't sound so surpised!" Stiles pouted in offence.
"How often does that happen to you, Stiles?"
"...Like, never." Stiles shrugged and looked down at his hand. He felt heat rush to his cheeks as he let out a giddy laugh.
'(Number) - Love MJ.'
