"Have you heard about (Y/N) (L/N)?"

"She's the new girl/boy, they-"

"Academics are incredible! Apparently-"

"Principal is already taking with future colleges on scholarships for them-"

"They're super nice too from what I hear. Even Randy likes 'em, and Randy doesn't like anybody."

Lydia heard the rumours everywhere since day one. It was only the next day when she met you.

"Heyyyy, (Y/N)." She twirled her finger around a lock of strawberry blonde hair. You rose a brow at her, going through your locker to grab your chemistry book.

"Uh, hi. You are?"

"Lydia Martin. Your new best friend." She smirked, flicking her hair over her shoulder. "We're going bowling tomorrow. You know where it is?"

"Uh, yeah, I used to go their with my dad-"

"Awesome! See you there at five tomorrow, (Y/N)!" Lydia sauntered off, knowing yours eyes were on her, which only made her more smug.

"Wow, Lyd, looking good." Allison giggled at her friends outfit. "Impressing someone?" Lydia always looked good, but she looked even more radiate than usual with her v-neck, tight skirt and knee-high boots.

"No, being eye-candy. I have a cutie to captivate tonight." She smirked.

"Well, you sure are captivating." Allison joked, getting ready for the bowling.

Your jaw almost dropped when you saw Lydia enter. You checked to make sure you weren't drooling all over yourself before you greeted her.

"Hey babe." Jackson greeted Allison, who sat by him and leant against his chest. You're eyes drifted back to Lydia, making room besides you for her.

"Aw, thanks." She chuckled, setting the game up before putting her bowling shoes on.

Lydia knew she wasn't amazing at bowling. After the first round though, she knew you were. She used that to her advantage.

"(Y/N), come help me. I suck at bowling."

"Really? I think you're pretty good-" Jackson smacked you upside the head before you realised what she was doing, following her to the aisle.

"You want me to teach you?" You offered and Lydia nodded, eyes sparkling. You let her hold the bowling ball, hand over hers as you pressed your chest against her back to guide her through the motion. She got a spare, but still grinned. "You're a natural." You teased.

"I have a good mentor." Lydia winked and you felt your heat race.

"Yeah...I'm always here to help, especially pretty girls."
