But What if I Don't Go?

"I'm not going. You can't make me."

Gerard was currently standing over me as I sat on the couch, refusing to get up and leave the hotel room.

"Paris, we can't just leave you here."

"I'm not risking my mom coming to talk to me or anything."

We were in Washington D.C. The place I lived before I was put into the foster system. The city mom lives in.

"Paris, she won't know where we're going for an interview that isn't even airing until next week. Everyone knows where our hotel is though. It's hard not too when there's a giant tour bus sitting next to it."

He made a good point. One I hadn't even thought about...

"Okay... as long as there's someone with me constantly..."

"We wouldn't have it any other way. We just need to make sure that you aren't here without anyone for who knows how long. That's even more dangerous than going somewhere with us."

I slowly nod my head. "I guess you're right. Let me pack a bag really quick..."

"Okay," Ray says as I turn to leave the room.

 I quickly grab the small bookbag that I carry with me as a purse and throw my phone, my charger, my headphones, and the book I was currently reading into it. 

"I'm ready!" I shout as I turn the lights to my room off and meet the band in the main area of the suit.

"Let's get going then. The Lyft driver is out there waiting for us," Mikey says as he looks at his phone

We get stopped at the front of the hotel by some fans, but the guys are nothing but sweet to them, even though we are running a bit late to the interview.

When we finally got in the car, the guys apologized to the driver because she had been there for a while as we talked to the fans. She was pretty understanding, though.

That's when I heard her voice and looked up at her. I saw the one person I was hoping not to see. She grinned evilly back at me when she saw me staring at her. 

It was my mother.

Hey guys! I think I'm actually back now. I've been able to handle school and extracurriculars for a while now, which has helped my grades a lot, so I'm going to try and start at least one upload every month (sadly not always to this story, as I have had something that isn't fanfiction in the works for a while and I'm kinda proud of it and want to start posting it, but I don't know yet).
