Test Chapter presequel

Hey guys,

I know its been awhile but I hope you've been well. This is a test chapter, of Kimberley Halstead's past.

CHAPTER 1

*2009 19th December*

*Kim's POV*

We've been here for 2 months now and nothing has changed. People dropping like flies all around us. But what can you expect when you are at war.

Christmas is only a few days away, but we're not going home. It's not like we have a home that wants us. Thats why we're here. My father signed me up and shipped me away. My mother put up a fight but she's dying so she couldn't do much. My partner Matt has a family who loves but they love the unborn baby more which is why they sent him here.

When we first arrived here after training everyone laughed. They thought it was a joke I mean who would believe that we'd been sent to war? My unit is so young, there's six of us and the oldest is eleven. Who would have thought that we would become the most elite unit of the united states armed forces.
