What did you do?!?!?!

I must warn you there is a reference to self harm in here and in this chapter it does major damage. I also must say that you can skip this chapter but it basically sets up the next few chapters.

"Hey, Taylor what's up?" I ask answering my phone and laying back into my chair. I hear a sob. "Taylor what's wrong?" I shoot up in my chair. "Taylor?"

"I couldn't take it anymore." Taylor cries into the phone.

"Couldn't that's past tense Taylor what'd you do?" I say starting to panic. "What can't you take anymore?"

"Everyone hates me." Taylor sobs, "They'll be better off without me. You'll thank me one day. I'm just a burden... to you...to my family...to our friends."

"No, Taylor don't say that." I say, "don't do anything irrational taylor." Everyone is looking at me.

"It's to late. It's done." Taylor sobs. "I'm going to leave this world. There's no going back now, goodbye."

"No Taylor!" I say but he's already hung up. I stand up the chair falling backwards onto the floor. "WE GOTTA GO! AMBO FOLLOW US!" I yell running out the door and jumping into the truck. Everyone dives into the truck and Cruz speeds away.

"What's going on?" Otis asks. "what was that phone call about?"

"T-Taylor he um he." I say. "take this left." Cruz makes a sharp left and then we are on Taylor's street. I look for his house, I see it "STOP!" Cruz slams on the breaks and I jump out. I run up to Taylor's house and break the window. I climb through and unlock the door to open it for the others. "TAYLOR!, TAYLOR! WHERE ARE YOU?" I yell I bolt up the stairs into Taylor's room. "TAYLOR! WHERE ARE YOU?" he isn't in his bedroom so I decide to check the bathroom. "TAYLOR!!!!" I yell seeing him on the floor, blood dripping from his wrists. I run over there and grab onto him. "Come on Taylor stay with me."

"Halsted where are you?" I hear Casey yell. I see the Knife Taylor used soaked in blood.

"Upstairs second door on the right!" I yell back, "bring Brett and Chilli." I hear footsteps and then see Casey run into the room.

"Oh my god!" He says as Brett and Chilli push past him. Brett kneels down and checks his pulse.

"Its weak." I hear Brett say as I start zoning out. "Halstead. HALSTEAD!" Brett says. I look up at her. "Do you want to ride with us?" I nod and stand up. Casey grabs my shoulder. We walk down the stairs and I jump into the back of the ambulance before Casey closes the door. I see the bandages on Taylor's Wrists and then realise I have something in my hand, his phone. Minutes later we're at the hospital and I don't remember the ride. I pull out my phone and text Lucas, Nick, Jordan and Lane telling them to come to the hospital.

We all sit there in complete silence my friends sitting next to me and fire house 51 sitting and standing around near us. The doctor comes up to us. "Follow me please." He says, Lucas, Nick, Lane, Jordan and I get up and follow the doctor into a hallway.

Severide's POV

The doctor asks to speak to Halstead and her friends alone. The doctor says something and they all start crying. Halstead bolts past us and out the doors. I chase her but lose her as soon as I get outside. I look around but see her no where.

Kim's POV

As soon as the doctor tells us that Taylor's dead the world slows down. I bolt down the hallway and past everyone from 51. Will steps out and starts talking "What's wrong?" He asks as I run I dodge past him and run out side. I keep running not knowing where I'm going. I run as far as I can as fast as I can but in the process I bump into someone.

"Wow, Halstead slow down." Sean Roman a patrol officer from Jay's district says. I go to run past him but he grabs my arm. "Are you Ok?" I nod trying to Pull my arm out of his grip. Then he sees my hands. "What did you do?" He grabs my hand and holds it up to examine it. "Your coming with me." He puts me into the back of his patrol car and I see burgess get into the passenger seat. Once we arrive at the station Roman tells Platt to buzz us up. "C'mon." Roman says, I just stand there and stare at the ground. "Kid, lets go see your brother." I just stand there.

"Why don't you just sit down over there."Burgess says holding my shoulder and guiding me to a bench that is outside aoffice. I sit down and burgess stands to the side of me. "Your phone'sringing." I look down at my hands and see that its not my phone, its Taylors.

Sorry to do that to you and I know you were just getting used to Taylor and he hasn't been in many chapters but now things can only get better (or worse).

I know its been a long time since i updated last, i was just contemplating on weather or not to use this chapter in the book. Obviously I decided i should because it sets up the next few chapters, but it will take me a while to get the next chapters up.

Merry Christmas and in case i don't update a chapter between now and then Happy New Year!
