"like i'm stupid" - eleven imagine

you and eleven's first fight

You had known El for over a year now. A little part of you was always intimidated by her, only because you had seen what she could do with her powers, and you did always seem to annoy her a little bit.

One time, you had taken it a bit too far.

"El, we always watch this movie." You groaned as you slid the tape into the box underneath the television. "We never do anything that I want."

"The park." She pointed out.

"But then you got cold so we left." You sighed, standing up. "Next movie we pick is my choice, okay? We have to be equal. It means-"

"I know! I know what equal means!" She shouted and you took a step back. You could see in her eyes that she was starting to get mad. "You treat me like I am stupid, (Y/N). I... am not... stupid!" She screamed, and suddenly the cart that the television stood on flew across the room, smashing into the wall. You gulped. 

"I know you're not stupid, El." You tried to calm her, but it didn't work. All it did was stress her out more and more. A few books flew off of the shelf behind you, one hitting you in the back. "El!"

"Then why do you treat me like I am stupid?" She yelled. You turned around, to walk away, but a book came flying off the shelf, hitting you in the nose. It hit you with such force that you fell to the ground. Bringing your hand up, your nose stung as you touched it, blooding dripping from your nostrils. You sat with your back to her.

"I don't want to hurt you, El." You said and she stopped the books from falling and walked over to you. Kneeling down beside you, El looked over and saw the blood drip from your nose. She gasped, putting a hand over her mouth as she realized what she had done. "It's okay, El." You reassured her as she brought your hand away from your nose.  

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay. I know that you didn't mean to."

Suddenly, the girl before you burst out into tears. Wrapping your arms around her, you pulled her into a hug as she sat cradled in your arms.
