The five pillars began to activate, glowing blue, the wave of energy swept from the first two pillars to the next and the next until all of them were connected with a wall of energy, this had only taken about five seconds. They realised that they were surounded on all sides by the same energy barrier, there was no way through. They stopped running, there was no way forward, so they ran back to the cola looking for any protection they could find from the ship. They stayed under the cola, trying to stay as far away from the pillars as possible, the cola was a good place as it is in the middle of the school with the oval behind it and grass on both sides. With panic in their hearts several students managed to get their phones out and try to call for help. "Come on, come on, hurry up turn on!" on said. " there's no service out here!" another added. "What's up with the phones, why are they turning off?"someone asked.

"I've seen this on the fifth wave, their shutting down all electronic devices with an elecro magnetic pulse (EMP)" Lewis realised. The ship began to make noises again but this time it opened up and it released a smaller ship. This ship made a zipping noise as it raced passed them and hovered above the oval behind the cola. The students ran for their lives towards the first pillar in the opposite direction of the ship that had just passed them. They stood there in between the buildings and the wall, wondering how to get out. Lewis picked up and threw a stick at the energy barrier wondering what might happen, the stick was flung back with a bang from the bolt of electricity that almost hit Lewis as well as the stick.

"Holy shit!" Lewis shouted with the fright of his life as the smoldering  stick narrowly missed his head. The classes were silent as they realised what would happen to them if they touched the energy barrier. "What are we going to do now? We can't pass the barrier without getting fried and the other ship is on the oval!" Jess stated the obvious. "Well there's no way out!" exclaimed Ellen. Jess noticed that it was getting late in the aftermoon as the sun began to slowly fade behind the horizon. The smaller ship began to land, as it extended it legs to stabilise it'self, the door started to open, and with it, several tall figures standing in the doorway with feint lights behind them . "Holy mother fucking Jesus christ!, their landing, guys their landing!" Lewis yelled with fear. They watched in fear, their legs told them to run but their eyes told them to stay and look at these creatures that no one had layed eyes on before. The aliens were about seven feet tall, had two arms and two legs, they were small in stature but nimble. They wore some type of suits, the suits were dark blue in colour with a golden cover over the head, this was most likely see through from the inside, it had lights on both sides of the head.

They ran towards the office but Lewis grabbed Jess, Ellen and Chelsea as they ran towards the office and forced them to run with him towards the Aguculture department.
They hid behind the building and yelled at Lewis as to why he forced them to follow him when everyone else went to the office. Lewis told them that "the aliens are clearly after us for some reason and with their technology would be able to determin where they are. So by leaving the group, the aliens would go after the largest number, I hope". "Well I hope your right Lewis  because if not, you just killed us!" Ellen managed to say as her heart was pounding in her chest. They ran inside and hid under the desks next to the windows, Lewis sood behind the tinted windows and watch to see what was happening.

He noticed the aliens were headed towards the others but could do nothing as they were out of range and it would of given their position away if they tried. He told the others what he saw and they agreed that the best and safest thing to do was to stay there and hope that they weren't next to be taken. They watched as their friends and teachers were dragged towards the ship, however they were not even moving, it was as if they were unconscious or even dead. They heared foot steps coming towards them at an increased pase, they hid inside the Ag building, ran to the storage closet and sat in the dark praying to any and all gods that they would not be taken.

The door open to the building and several shadows were able to be distinguished under the door. They were not alone in there and they could phisically feel their heads throbbing in fear, their chests pounding and their hearts were about to fail them. The shadows moved towards the storage room, the handle wriggled as the door started to open. It swung open and there, right before their eyes were.

The others, some of them got away, they didn't all get taken. "How did you get away?" Lewis asked. "We ran when we saw them coming in our direction. We warned the others but they didn't listen and when they did, it was too late. There was too many of us for them to grab, our numbers overwhelmed them and a few of us escaped!" Kasey whispered. "How many got away?" "I dont know but theres us and i think i saw some run towards A block. They have some sort of guns, they shoot blue light energy things and when they hit you, your unconscious, thats how they got us". "Holy shit Kasey, iam glad your ok, who's here with you?" "There's me, Jaidyn, Rachael and Christine". "Who's in there?" asked Christine. "Oh, it's Ellen, Jessica, Chelsea and Lewis!" Replyed Rachael as she swung the closet door open, nearly hitting Kasey. "What the fuck Rachael, watch it, ya spastic" Kasey shouted. "Guy's keep your voices down I don't think they know where we are" wishpered Jaidyn.

The eight of them sat on the floor silently wondering what they could do. "What are we going to do? Their taking everyone they can and were probably going to be next" asked Christine.
