Take Off

As they came up to the office they saw several of their class mates lying on the floor, unconscious. Lewis and Mitchell made everyone lay down and ensure they knew the plan. "Ok so one last time guys, stay still and no matter what happens don't move or the whole plan will be ruined. When were on the ship, we can regroup and figure out what to do from there." yes we know Lewis for the thousandth time" said Kasey. "I am freaking out, I can't do this, I want to go back in side" Jessica whimpered, "same Jess, but we can do this" Christine comforted. "Quick one of thems coming" shouted Rachael. They fell to the floor as quick as they could but Mitchell was too slow, the alien saw him from around the corner and shot him in the arm. The bolt was blue in colour and it was like it was made of electricity as when it hit his arm, it travelled around his body like it was made of electricity and he fell to the ground with a few shakes but he stopped.

Kasey went to get up but Lewis held out his arm and pushed her chest back to the ground so she couldn't get up. "Let go of me, Mitchell's been shot!" "Kasey he's not dead only unconscious, if you get up you will ruin everything, he will be fine just stick to the plan". Kasey reluctantly layed back down and waited for the alien to come around the corner. He came around the corner holding his gun up to his shoulder ready to fire, he pointed at Mitchell first and then at the rest of them, he looked around and then went back to mitchell. It pressed a button on it's gun and then aimed it at mitchell, a white light came from the end of the gun and it went over him, from head to toe, like it scanning him.

Lewis noticed that the aliens mask had black out lined hexagonal patterns on it, the same patterns as on the pillars, he also noticed that it had five fingers and he realised that they were unbelievably humanoid. His thoughts were interuped as it called the others on his radio, when they came he left the two othe aliens to carry them back to the ship. One of the aliens placed a metal device, the one Mitchell deacribed, onto Mitchell and pushed a button on it. It made a beep and then four small spikes came out and did exactly as he described, two went into his shoulders and two went in to his lower back. He then began to float like he was in zero gravity, slowly he floated up into the air but stopped about 1 meter of the ground. They began to carry them to the ship two at a time, as they got closer to the ship Lewis looked at who he was being carryed with and it was Kasey. They got closer to the ship and realised it was so much bigger up close, they were floating up the ramp and Lewis was first in the door. His heart raced and everything in his gut and mind told him to run as fast as he could but he focused on how many people might depend their lives on this idiotic plan.

The inside of the ship was dark and made of a similar metal that the pillars were made of, there were a few blue and green lights along the floor with strange symbols that glowed along the walls. They were carried along several corridors passes a few rooms and finally into a room filled with metalic circles on the walls, row after row the walls were filled with these circles. What were they and why were they there, Lewis couldn't figure this out, but then they stopped. The alien began to press several buttons next to one of the circle things and then the circle swung open, it was a container. Oh shit, that's what they are, they use them to carry people he thought to himself. The alien pushed Lewis head first into the hollow cylindrical tube, it then proceeded to close the door behind him, with a click the door sealed it'self and the container was pitch black except for a small flashing light.

Lewis heard the container next to him open and close, that must be Kasey he thought. Several minutes passed and several other containers opened and closed. In the silence of the ship, Lewis could hear something getting louder and louder like a great big machine was turning on, that must be the engines starting up he thought. The thrusters blasted on without warning and scared the shit out of him, the ship started to take off, his heart was throbbing so loudly he thought it was echoing in the container, there was no turning back now, him and the others would succeed or they would die. A few minutes later they began to slow down, they were entering the mother ship now and he would have to find the others when he has a chance.

The ship landed and several minutes passes but nothing happened, he could not see out side and was completely unable to open the door as it was sealed from the outside, all he could do was wait, and wait he did. It seemed like several hours had passed but finally something was happening, he heared the door open to the room where they were being held. One after the other, Lewis heard each container being opened and then closed, soon enough he would be next and he needed to clam down as he would give himself away. Moments passed and sure enough he was next to be taken, he heared the buttons being pressed and then the door swung open, the alien grabbed his foot and pulled him out, it then pushed him through the corridors and then they reached the ramp. Lewis opened his eyes slightly more and he could see the inside of the what he assumed from the movies he has watched that they were in the cargo bay of the mother ship.

There were so many aliens in the cargo bay, they were every where, just looking at us as they passed them and headed into one of the mother ships large corridors. Lewis saw no sign of anyone and immediately regretted his decision to go up in the ship, the alien was walking for a while and as it passed the corridors and rooms, Lewis made a mental note of the way he came to make a hastey escape when he has everyone.
