The Escape

The alien turned down a small corridor and stopped walking, it waved it's hand along a small grey box on the right side of the door. The door opened up by sliding open in the middle to reveal an empty room, the alien sat Lewis on the ground and disconnected the device on his back. He plonked in the ground  but he made no sound to keep up the act, as it left, it waved its hand over the same device on the inside of the door, like the first time the door opened and when it left the door closed. He sat up and looked around. He was unable to see anything but four walls made of the same black metal as the small ship, he noticed that the door had two glass pannels on each side. He stumbled to his feet and carefuly looked through, he couldn't see anything except for empty corridors.

The room was cold and dark except for the same lights in the corridor and the device that opened the door, he was able to hear the engines from the room, this ship was huge and finding his people would be nearly impossible on a ship this size without being spotted. He heared footsteps approaching and he ran to lay in the same spot that he was left in to make it look like he hasn't moved. "Oh shit" he whispered to himself. "Where was I, I can't remember!" He panicked and layed on the ground where he thought he was before, as soon as he layed sown the alien came in with the next person.  He was unable to see who it was as he had his head turned in the opposite direction to the door. The alien placed who ever it was on the ground and he heared the device being disconected and then the person plonked onto the ground.

The alien got up and turned towards the door, it stopped, turned its head towards Lewis, it must have noticed that he had moved slightly. It came towards him and pulled out his gun and pointed it at him, a series of voices came on out of now where, this must have been the ships announcement radio. The alien turned and walked out the door, leaving Lewis and the other person in the room. Lewis turned his head and looked at the person, "Oh thank god it's you Kasey" he said as they both got up. "Have you seen anyone else" she asked, "No I haven't, only corridors and more aliens". "How do we get out?" "I don't know but the alien waved his hand over that device on the wall just there and the door opened".

Kasey looked to were he was pointing, the device was small with a few blue lights. "How does it open?" She asked. "I have no clue but somehow it opens when it waves it'shand over it". Lewis walked over to the device and waved his hand, nothing happened, not a flash or a beep just nothing. "The alien might have something on his arm, like a card you use to open locked doors in the movies, you know how you swipe them and the door opens" he explained. "Ah yea I know what you mean now, so we have to get the device to unlock the door right?". "I think so, it has to be on his arm probably around his wrist". They heared footsteps again, and layed on the floor, the alien came in and brought Chelsea. When it left Lewis noticed that on its suit it had a small metal bracelet embedded into it with a small blue light on it. "On it's wrist, I think I saw the key to open the door!" Lewis exclaimed.

Kasey filled in Chelsea about what was going on and what they were doing. "When were all here, we can attack the alien and grab its device to unlock the door" Lewis told them. They waited for the alien to return with another person this time it was Rachael. Each time the alien left they filled in the new person on what was going to happen when all of them are together. Soon enough there were seven of them were together with only two to go. Lewis came up with the idea that when it came back with the last of them, someone would cause a distranction and he would tackle the alien to the ground. Then someone can grab the gun off him and shoot the alien with it. "Thats not going to kill it" said Kasey. "I know but what else can we do, we'll knock it out with the gun and take the bracelet, he wont be able to get out then" Lewis insisted.

"Ok then, do we all agree with the plan?" Lewis asked. "Yea I do but it's  still a terrible plan, just saying" said Christine. Moments later the alien came back with the eighth friend, they layed down and then it came in. This time it had Jaidyn with him, that ment that Mitchell was going to be the last of them and when the alien disconected his antigravity device, they would strike. It then left and they all got up and informed Jaidyn about the plan to escape the room. "Isn't Mitchell here alread?" Jaidyn asked. "No, shouldn't he be after you?" Kasey asked. "No, I was the last one out, there weren't any more containers closed they were all open when I left" Jaidyn said in disbelief. "I am sorry Kasey, he's not there, I didn't see anyone else". Kasey started to tear up and one ran down her cheek, "where is he then, he should be there, they took him I saw it. If hes not here then he has to be with some of the others, where ever they are!" Kasey bagan to cry with fear for her boyfriend. Christine tryed to console her but nothing would work, except for the realisation that "How are we going to get out without Mitchell, the whole plan was based around the last person and we missed out shot!" Kasey shouted. They all realised that she was right, they couldnt get out without the bracelet that was on the aliens wrist.

Chelsea came up with the idea that they would bang on the wall and when it came to check out the noise they would continue with Lewis's plan. They all agreed but they needed someone to make the distraction. Ellen volunteered, they all got into position on the floor, they all started making noises and yelling. A few minutes later they heared someone running their way, Kasey, still up set that Mitchell isn't with them, thought it was him. The alien burst throught the door and saw kasey standing there, it grabed the gun and went to shoot Kasey. At this point no one knew what to do as she had just stuffed the plan, with his quick thinking Lewis jumped up and grabbed the gun and knocked it way. The two of them wrestled and punched each other but luckily lewis managed to push it back and he launched himself at the gun. He held it towards the alien but couldn't figure out how to shoot it, the alien ran as Lewis but he managed to throw the gun at Ellen and told her to shoot it while be bought her some time. Ellen couldn't figure it out either.
