As the feeling of failure left the eight, they continued to find the other group to inform then what they have learned. As they walked further and further, discovering the ship, they heared faint distant noises that sounded like guns shooting. They ran towards the sounds and came closer to the noise, they saw six aliens shooting at something around the corner in the opposite direction so luckily they werent seen. The eight raised their guns and switched them to red, they aimed at the closest three, the first two went down rather quicky as they had surprise on their side but now the remaining four were onto them. In the confusion of being attacked from both sides another alien was hit from around the corner.  They were pinned down and running out of options, desperate and afraid one of the aliens grabbed a small black device from it's side, it pulled it in half and then turned the top about 90 degrees, then pushed it closed. The device started to flash its lights and maked a series of beeps that got faster and faster, it threw it towards the corner where they were firing at the start.

The explosion was so strong that it knocked over the aliens and the eight, apart of the corridor came down with the explosion and blocked off the corridor where they were shooting, dust and debre were sent flying in all directions. Apart of the metal ceiling came down and smashed right through one of the aliens chest, impailing it instantly and sending blood in every direction. There was only two aliens left now and they stumbled to their feet, one aimed at Rachael and fired. The bolt flew passed Lewis's head as he turned to warn her, with his own eyes he saw it hit her in the right side of her face. The bolt passed right through her head leaving a single sinjed hole in its wake. The blood squired every where, it hit the ceiling, the wall and even hit his face. Rachael fell to her knees, coughed up blood from her filled lungs and then fell forward onto the ground, her blood still pumping with every faded beat of her heart.

Lewis sat there in horror from that just happened, he couldn't believe his eyes, he had just seen Rachael with half of her head missing. Ellen and Chelsea shot the alien that killed Rachael and together the seven of them shot the last alien simultaneously. Lewis sat on the floor still clutching his gun with his right hand. He wiped the warm blood from his face using his left hand, he sat there without an expresion on his face, this was too much for a sixteen year old to handle. Ellen snapped Lewis out of it, "Lewis, it's the other group, their around the corner on the other side of the debre, we need to help them clear the way!". Lewis got up and walked over to the debre, he told everyone to grab something and start pulling. They all started pulling out anything they could get their hands on. As Lewis was pulling out debre, he noticed that one of the aliens had a red bracelet, he stopped and walked ovet to it. He pulled it off and placed on on his right wrist with the others, now I can access the room with all the controls if I need, he thought to him self. He went back to clearing the debre and from the other side he was able to hear the other group, he was able to make out that they were also clearing the debre.

"Jess, can you and Christine stand guard and keep an eye out for any more aliens" Lewis asked. "Ok" Jess said and they stood guard on both sides of the debre. As they cleared more and more debre, they found an arm in the rubble, they were shocked to see this and wanted to find out who's arm this was. They unearthed the face, it was Jesse, "Well no loss there"Chelsea stated. "Chelsea, you shouldn't say that, I know he was a douche but thats still not ok" Jessica shouted. About fifteen minutes had passes and they were able to see the other group, they had removed enough debre to pass through and regroup. Ellen asked "What happened, why were there so many of them?". Joe told them, "I don't know, we came around the corner and there they were. They started shooting at us so we shot back, luckily yous came along or we might not have made it". Jess told them that "were in space, we passed a window and could see earth from it". "We know, we passed one too, where did yous get the guns?" Joe asked. Chelsea told him that they had gotten them from an armoury a while back.  "Yous can grab the guns from the dead aliens" said Ellen. The other grouo of year elevens grabbed the guns and followed Lewis down the corridor.

"They must have been guarding a door for some reason, if we continue this way, we will probably find it" Lewis explained. Lewis saw a door in the distance and ran up to it, the looked through the window and sure enough, he saw a room filled with the same cylindrical containers in the wall that they were first put in. He looked for any guards but found none, they must have all died in the fight he thought. He waced his wrist and the door opened up, they all walked in and spread out. "We need to spread out and open every one, we can't leave any one behind!" Shouted Lewis. Without question they walked around and spread out to every wall and corner, they started to open them but then realised that they didn't know how.  "Um, does anyone know how to open these?" asked Jaidyn. "No not a clue, does Lewis?" Asked  Christine. "No, I accturaly don't know" shouted Lewis. Lewis stared at the key pad next to one of the circular doors in the wall, he looked up the wall, down the wall, right and left. He wasnt able to see any clues that might help him to open the door, "sorry guys, I have no clue either!" Said Lewis.

"How are we going to open them without the correct codes?" asked Ellen. "I don't know" said Lewis, "we might have to go back to the room with all of the consoles to open them?" "Oh hell no, I ain't going back there!" Shouted Chelsea. Ellen added "Well we might actually have to go back because how else are we going to get off this ship?". "Well your going to have to drag me" Chelsea giggled. "Don't tempt me" Jess mumbled. As he left the room he noticed that there were symbols on top of the door, he thought that they must be the word for this room in the alien language.
