Chapter 3

Writer's POV

Eunhyun's eye widened, she was immobilised by the guy at the front down. She brought up her shaking right arm and pointed at him. "You're the charming young son?!" She asked with disbelieve in her voice.

"Charming young what? Where did you get that from?" Chanyeol scoffed and walked past her, allowing himself to enter into her home. When Eunhyun wasn't in his view, she sneak a peek at chanyeol. He was dressed in a simple buttoned up dark blue shirt and black jeans but that was enough to make Eunhyun stare at him a little longer than normal.

Before she was caught, her mom announced that the food is ready, making everyone head to the dining table .

"So Chanyeol, do you have a girlfriend?" Eunhyun choked on her salmon upon hearing her mom's question. She quickly grab her cup of water and gulping the drink down.

Mrs Park chuckled at Eunhyun actions and answered for Chanyeol. "No i don't think he has, right?" her eyes flickered to Chanyeol waiting for his response. "No Mrs Kim, I don't.

"Oh what an coincidence, my daughter doesn't have a boyfriend either." Eunhyun's mom giggled causing Eunhyun to glare at her. Chanyeol just smile at Mrs Park in response.

Eunhyun's POV

I saw that awkward smile Chanyeol gave my mom. It wasn't just awkward, it was filled with discomfort as well. Oh geez mom, thanks alot. You scared the new kid.

"That's just great isn't it? Both our kids are single." Mrs Park laughed in joy and my mom laughed along with her. Mr Park just gave an awkward smile while nodding his head. Oh I forgot that Chanyeol's dad was here oops.

"I wouldn't want to be with her, she's not even that attractive." Chanyeol mumbled under his breath thinking that no one would hear it . Oh but we heard it alright. Mrs Park quickly slapped his thigh, glaring at him. "I wouldn't want to be with you either, you got the brains of a peanut." I uttered with my teeth gritted against each other. Before Chanyeol could make his comeback, Mrs Park slapped her palm over his mouth and my mom did the exact same to me.

"Let's enjoy dinner, alright kids?" Mr Park said sternly but with a smile on his face.

I grip onto my utensils tightly and continued eating, ignoring Chanyeol for the rest of our dinner or so i tried.

During dinner I caught Chanyeol glancing at me a couple of times. Why? Because i was looking at him too. He has the looks but sadly not the attitude. I signed, perhaps too loud causing everyone to look at me. I looked down in embarrassment pretending nothing happened and continued eating but I heard Chanyeol chuckling softly. I looked up and we made eye contact for the second time today . 'His eyes are so mesmerising' was what I first thought but then realised I was staring too long and quickly break away from his stare.

What has gotten over me? Remember Eunhyun, he called me unattractive. He would never consider you more than acquaintance.

After than 'moment' I didn't dare to look anywhere else except my plate and maybe it was for the best. Dinner ended soon after and we bid our goodbye to the Park family. Mrs Park even invited us over for dinner next time. What took me by surprise was when Chanyeol was leaving and he said to me "Bye ugly, see you for physics." I stood rooted to the ground , I wouldn't imagine the cold Park Chanyeol actually talking to me. Before I could reply, he was already out of the house. "WAIT...UGLY?!"

Writer's POV

The next day at school, Eunhyun didn't have a chance to see Chanyeol because they didn't had physics today. That didn't stop her from searching for him. Standing at her locker, she tried to spot him in the crowd of hungry students rushing to the cafeteria. Finally, she saw that perfect brown spiky hair out of the crowd and she knew it was his.

"Hellooooooo, earth to Eunhyun." Taemi sings out while snapping her fingers infront of Eunhyun's face. Eunhyun then break off from her thought and paid her attention back to Taemi. "Are you even listening to me? Stop gaping at Chanyeol." Taemi frowned.

Eunhyun shut her locker and walked towards the cafeteria with Taemi beside her. "Mianhae Taemi, I don't what has gotten over me lately.". "Oh I know what has!" Taemi gave Eunhyun a devilish grin. Eunhyun raised her left eyebrow and asked "what?"

"LOVE!" Taemi shouted, causing everyone in the hallway to stop their conversation and turn their attention towards us. "You idiot!" Eunhyun snapped and grabbed Taemi's ear, pulling her to the cafeteria. Upon reaching the cafeteria, they met a familiar face.

Baekhyun was waiting outside the cafeteria, hands in his pocket and sucking on a lollipop. When he heard two familiar voices arguing, he turned his head towards their direction. He grinned at the entrance of his 2 favourite girls. "What are doing to my girlfriend?" He asked Eunhyun when he saw her pulling Taemi's ear.

"Girlfriend?" Eunhyun looked at Taemi with curious eyes, demanding for an answer. "Hehe surprise!" Taemi exclaimed and hugged her boyfriend. "He asked me yesterday, you should probably get a boyfriend too soon you know."

"Can we eat now?" Eunhyun grumbled at them but she was secretly happy for her bestfriends. "Oh by the way, Chanyeol is eating with us today." Baekhyun said while putting his arms around Taemi. "What? How? Why?!"

"We have history together, he seems nice so i invited him to have lunch with us." Eunhyun groaned loudly but immediately froze when someone came up behind her. "Seem like someone doesn't want to have lunch with me."
