I'm Not Yours To Protect

Chapter 21

Writer's POV

          The couple entered school holding hands. "How did she make him fall in love with her?" When they heard whispers and people gossiping about the new couple, Eunhyun looked down and wanted to let go of his hand but he tightened his grip. "Don't worry." He said in a smoothing voice and gave her a reassuring smile.

          The news of the new couple spread across the whole school like a wall caught on fire. There were people that were totally against it and people who loved the couple. As they walked through the corridor to their respective classrooms, words of congratulation were heard as well as words of displeasure. Chanyeol flashed then all a confident grin as his hand crept over to Eunhyun's shoulder, showing off his girlfriend.

          Chanyeol walked Eunhyun to her class, "After school, i have basketball meeting so don't wait for me and just head home okay?" He planted a kiss on her forehead causing the girls around them to squeal and swooned at them. Her face turned red of embarrassment and nodded before quickly going into her classroom.

          Once Eunhyun sat down at her seat, she was bombarded with questions from everyone. "How did you and Chanyeol get together?", "Did you guys do it yet?", "What does it feel like kissing the Park Chanyeol?"

          After hearing that last question, she let out a huge sign and rested her head on her palm. "We just got together, it's nothing interesting to be talking about." She replied them with an annoyed tone and shooed them away. "Geez, just how many girls like Chanyeol?" She thought to herself.

         She shake the thought away and was about to snooze on her table when the teacher walked in, beginning the lesson.

          During the lesson, Eunhyun was dozing off which wasn't her usual self. She was playing with her pen, focusing her attention on it when she felt something soft hit her head. She casted a look around the classroom warily and her gaze stopped at Baekhyun who was at the back of class. Eunhyun raised her eyebrows at him and lowered her tone to a whisper, "What?". Baekhyun pointed at the crushed up paper on the floor.

          She lowered her back to reach for the paper and opened it. "Chanyeol and you are the hottest couple right now, I heard some guys are going crazy after finding out you're taken." Eunhyun blew air through his nose like an enraged dragon crushed the paper back into a ball. She was about to throw it at Baekhyun when the teacher called Eunhyun out to answer a question on the board.

          Eunhyun pouted her cheeks as she took the marker from her teacher. Her mind was empty while holding the marker steadily on the whiteboard. Nothing popped into her mind except-

          Giggles and laughter were heard through out the classrooms. Eunhyun looked carefully at what she wrote and gasped as she grasped the marker tightly. I hate Byun Baekhyun.

          "Eunhyun, I know that Baekhyun is one annoying kid but take this seriously and answer the question." The teacher rubbed his temples and gave a visibly look of annoyance ". Eunhyun quickly erased the board and wrote the answer. STUPID BYUN BAEKHYUN!

          She walked back to her seat while looking down, embarrassed of what she did earlier. Laughter was still being heard by a certain someone, she shot a nasty glare at him and Baekhyun stick out his tongue in response, "Merongggg."
