I'm Not Yours To Protect

Chapter 14

                      Eunhyun's POV
                     One month after

          I have been thinking about what Taemi said last month for quite some time now. Chanyeol and I pretended nothing happened that time but I won't deny the fact that I was hurt by it. I was hoping he would have explained why he attempted to kiss me but he didn't. I glanced to my left, once again I was unable to keep my eyes off of him.

          Mr lee trailed into class with someone walking behind him. "Another new classmate?". "He's cute!". "I call dibs on him."

          Whispers were heard by everyone in my class about the new boy. His head was tiled downwards and his eyes were away from everyone's. I squinted my eyes at him in order to get a good look but sitting at the back of the class doesn't help much. Taemi didn't seem bothered by his presence and so did Chanyeol.

          "Annyeonghasaeyo, I'm Baek Juho." I felt my heart stopped in place. He looked up at everyone and I nervously looked at his face to confirm whether it's him. My breathing started being inconsistent and I trembled in my seat in fear. I looked over at Taemi for help but she looked as surprised as I was.

          Closing my eyes, I swallowed the lump in my throat. I could feel my eyes watering as I recalled the countless memories I had with him. He was my Baek Juho.

Chanyeol's POV

I was secretly smiling to myself with the presence of the new guy. Please take all this fangirls away from me. In hopes that Eunhyun wasn't ogling her eyes at Juho, i secretly took a glance at her.

Why is she trembling? She's trying to hide her tears but I can see it. "Eunhyunnnn" i whispered trying to grab her attention. Her ear visibly twitch to the sound of her name and she quickly wiped the tears of her face before replying me, "Yes?" She gave me a fake smile but failed to hide the bitterness in her voice. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong, something went into my eye, that's all." I frowned at her lie and decided to stop prying as it may be something that is needed to be dealt with alone.

           Juho wouldn't stop staring at Eunhyun during class and it was started to tick me off. I observed the guy and gave him a hard stare. I growled slightly, biting my lips to stop myself from bursting out at him. I noticed Taemi taking a few glances at Eunhyun here and there as worry started to fill her face.

          Right after the bell rang, Eunhyun dashed out of class and that Juho bastard followed her. Before I chased after them, I called for Taemi and accompanied it with a dainty tap on her shoulder. She tilted her head as if she was asking me what I wanted. I pointed at the front door, "That Juho guy followed Eunhyun, he's weird. Come on we need to follow them."

          Complete silence filled the air before Taemi's eye's widened in a flash second and her lips twitched upwards. "WHAT?!!!"

          Due to her delayed reaction, I was pissed but wasted no time and pulled Taemi along to search for Eunhyun and Juho. Right after we began our search, we encountered Baekhyun. When I told him about the new guy, Baekhyun was so furious he nearly kick me in the guts. Luckily I managed to dodge that attack. He faced Taemi and said through clenched teeth, "How could you leave her alone with him!"

          When her eyes met Baekhyun's, they darted away at the speed of light. "I'm sorry." She apologised in a shaky voice as guilt filled in her body. I stood in front of Taemi, protecting her from Baekhyun's glare and questioned him. "Woah woah woah, what the hell is going on here?" He groaned as he brushed his hair in frustration. "I'll explain later, let's just split up and search for them."

                        Writer's POV

          With her books pressed against her chest, Eunhyun quickened her pace when she noticed that Juho was following her. "Oh god please help me." She pleaded silently as she walked through the corridor. It was lunch break so everyone was in the cafeteria, that makes Eunhyun and Juho alone in the hallways.

          She cursed under her breath when she reached a dead end. She knew the school like the back of her hand but due to her unpleasant stalker, she lost all sense of directions. "Princess."

          She trembled in fear when she heard his voice. She nervously turned around and met his eyes. He smirk evilly, eyes sparkling mischievously. She slowly walked backwards and Juho followed her. She let out a soft squeal when her back hit the wall and she froze. He approached her, trapped her and lifted her chin up.

          Leaning in to whisper something in her ear, she clenched her eyes shut in fear. "Did you miss me?" His breath could be felt under her neck and it send shivers down her entire body.

          "Cat got your tongue? Well if you aren't going to answer me, I'll make you." He said huskily and he forcefully closed the gap between them. His lips moved across the sensitive skin on her throat, leaving a trail of kisses. Eunhyun was defenseless under him and she just sobbed, hoping someone would come to her rescue. Her body was trembling horrifyingly as he cupped her face with his hands.

          His face were mere itches away from her, she closed her eyes and braced herself for the worst. The only thought she was having was "Chanyeol! save me!"

          When the kiss never came, she opened her eyes and she gasped at the scene in front of her. Juho was on the ground with a bleeding lip and her knight in shining armour has his hands around his collar. She let out a breath of relief as her back slid down against the wall. "Don't ever touch her again you bastard! If you do, I swear that will be the last thing you will ever do."

          Juho kicked Chanyeol's stomach causing him to stumble back. He pointed his index finger at him. "And I swear if you ever touch me again, those kisses won't be the thing she will get from me next time." He sneered at Chanyeol. Chanyeol's eyes were wide opened, anger, jealousy and every negative emotion glistened in his eyes. Chanyeol was about to jumped at him but Eunhyun pulled him back. His eyes softened as soon as he met her tearful eyes.

          "I'll be coming for your irresistible lips soon Eunhyun and this time no one would stop me." Juho said as he gaze lingered on her. With his hands in his pockets, he walked off leaving Chanyeol and Eunhyun alone.
