Hey there! So, I know I said I wasn't gonna be able to update for a while because of my internet, but I found a loophole, and managed to type this on my computer, email it to myself, and copy and paste it to Wattpad on my phone. So, here is the newest chapter for you lovely people. It's just kind of a filler until I have WiFi. Hope you enjoy it though!

Also, shoutout to @I'mAProudFreak for the recent voting spree on this story. I really appreciate it! I also LOVE the username. I, too, am a proud freak! This chapter goes out to all of the proud freaks! :)

{Patrick's POV}

Vaughn left the room, flipping off the lights and leaving Pete and I in the dark. "Pete, are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Then remembering he couldn't talk, but I could still see him thanks to my enhanced eye sight, I said, "Thumbs up for yes, down for no. Did he hurt you?" Peering into the darkness, I could vaguely see his thumb being held out, pointed down to the ground. I let out a sigh of relief. "Good. If I can focus hard enough, I should be able to break these chains, and get us out of here. Maybe I can just..." I muttered, swinging myself so the chain across the hook was sliding back and forth along the hook. Finally, after a few minutes, I swung off the hook and landed on the floor, groaning as I slipped and landed with a thud on my back.

Standing up, I managed to break the chains with my strength after just a few tries. I heard Pete cry out behind the gag, most likely shouting my name in worry. "Calm down, Pete. I'm fine. Let's get this thing off of you." I said, rushing to his side and quickly untying the gag.

"Ah, thank God! That was getting annoying. Hurry, untie me, before he comes back." Pete said.

"No, I was just gonna leave you here, run off to some other state or something." I muttered sarcastically as I began untying his bindings. Then, I froze.

"What? Patrick, what is it?" Pete asked as I turned towards the stairs.

"He's coming." I explained, moving quicker in untying the ropes.

"Patrick, listen. There's a back door over there. I can see through the window, it's probably around 8:00, and it's dark. Get out of here! Run to Ryan and Brendon's house. Take my phone, their address is in my contacts, you can use the GPS. Tell them what's going on. Hurry!" Pete explained.

I shook my head, my hands slipping over the ropes as I furiously fought to untie the tight bonds. "No, Pete. I'm not leaving you here with him. He's dangerous! He could kill you!" I said.

"Patrick, please. I can hear him coming now. Go get Brendon and Ryan! Hurry!" He pleaded.

Looking at him in desperation, tears sliding down my face, I finally nodded in defeat. "Fine. I...I love you, Pete." I said, throwing my arms around him.

He paused, before giving me a smile. "I love you, too, 'Trick. Go!" he said, lowering his voice so Vaughn didn't hear. I took his phone from a table nearby, and rushed through the basement to the door that led into the backyard, quietly opening it and running out into the cool night. I closed the door, looked around, and found a shelving unit. Acting quickly, I pushed the shelving unit in front of the stone door. I knew it wouldn't hold Vaughn back, but I hoped it would give me a little extra time.

I turned around and ran as fast I could, which was pretty fast, since I'd been practicing recently with my superhuman speed. When I was a good distance away, I stopped for a moment, taking out the phone, and searching through the contacts until I found Brendon's name. I opened it and found his address, entering it into the GPS. I smiled as it showed me that I was only about twenty minutes away. I would be there in seconds. I quickly scanned the directions, and tucked the phone into my pocket before running off into the direction of Brendon and Ryan's house.

In a moment's notice, I arrived on Brendon and Ryan's front porch. Their light was off, but there was a light on inside, so I assumed they were up. I walked over to the door and knocked frantically. A second later, the door was open and I was face to face to Ryan. "Patrick? What's wrong? Where's Pete?" he asked, looking confused.

"W-Where's Brendon? Is he here with you?" I asked.

"No, he's at work, at the lab. Why, what's wrong?" Ryan wondered, stepping outside and closing the door.

"It's kind of hard to explain, but I need help. Vaughn...somehow Vaughn got out of my head and managed to...I don't know...manifest himself in a physical form or something, and he's got Pete tied up in the basement. I managed to get out, and Pete told me to come here and get you guys." I explained quickly, cringing at how absolutely mad I sounded.

Ryan just stood there, in complete shock, as he took it all in. "Whoa...that sounds...crazy. Alright, so, I guess we have to go get Brendon, we'll need his help..."

"No!", I interrupted, "No, we can't go to the lab. What happens if someone sees me? We can't afford to have me sent back there and locked up now Ryan! Pete's in danger. We all are, as long as Vaughn is loose!" I argued.

"Alright, alright. I'll call Brendon and see if he can get out of work, tell him it's an emergency, and to meet us at Pete's house. Why don't you come inside for a minute, and I'll call him?" he suggested. With a sigh, I nodded, stepping into Ryan's house. He closed the door behind me and led me to the living room, gesturing for me to sit down on the couch. I did, my leg bouncing up and down with anxiety. Vaughn could be hurting Pete. He could be dying, or dead already. You need to get to him. You need to help him, he thought.

"I don't know, Bren. Just tell him it's an emergency, I have to go to the hospital or something. We have to go help Pete!" Ryan argued, his shouting breaking me out of my thoughts. "Alright. I'll see you there." he said, before hanging up the phone.

"Brendon is going to meet us at Pete's house. He just has to find a way to get past Pete's father. Come on!" he said, grabbing his car keys and leading the way out the front door. We climbed into the front seats of his car, and he started it before pulling out of the driveway and down the road in the direction of Pete's house.

My leg continued fidgeting, and my hand was furiously toying with a loose string on my long-sleeved blue sweater. Ryan looked over at me, noticing my fidgeting, and gave me a small pat on the arm. I looked up and saw him smiling at me, a small, warm smile. "We'll get to him, Patrick. He'll be okay." he said. I nodded, sitting back in my seat. I knew I had to believe him, but all I could think about was what could possibly have been my last words to Pete.

     I love you.
