Quinn is standing in her room, screaming. All of a sudden, Puck, Sam, and Santana enter.
"What happened?" Santana said.
"Good God, what is it?" Puck asked.
Quinn shudders, takes a step forward, and collapses.
"My God, look at that!" Puck added pointing at the thing that was hanging on the ceiling.
Everyone look up. Seaweed is hanging from the ceiling.
Quinn laughing hysterically. "It was only seaweed... only seaweed... that's what the smell was."
"Someone get some brandy!" Puck added.
Sam runs to get brandy, comes back. Puck pours out glass and presses it to Quinn's lips. Quinn about to drink, when suddenly she stops.
"Where did this brandy come from?"
"I got it from downstairs." Sam added.
"I won't drink it..." Quinn said.
Puck laughing. "Good for you, Quinn! You've got your wits about you – even though you've been scared half out of your life. I'll get a fresh bottle that hasn't been opened. He leaves.
"I'm all right now. I'll have some water." Quinn said.
"That brandy's all right." Sam said.
"How do you know?" Artie said.
"I didn't put anything in it if that's what you mean." Sam reply.
"I'm not saying you did. You might have done it, or someone else might have done it just for this emergency." Artie said.
Puck re-enters with unopened bottle.
"Here you are. Absolutely no deception. Lucky Weston left a good supply of spirits in the house. You'd better drink this." Puck said.
Quinn drinks.
"Well, here's one murder that hasn't gone according to plan!" Puck said.
"You think that was what it was?" Quinn said.
"Expected you to pass out through fright! Some people would have." Puck said.
"Where's Finn?" Quinn asked.
"That's odd... thought he came up with us." Santana said.
"So did I... What about it. Artie. You came up the stairs behind me." Sam said.
"I thought he was following me.."
"That's odd..." Puck said.
"We must look for him!" Sam asked.
"Of course he may have stayed in the living room... Finn? Where are you?" Artie said.
