Chapter 6- Painful Goodbye

"Jhia..." Niyakap ako ni Ethan. Para akong tanga na nakangiti habang lumuluha.

I should be happy for him. After experiencing so much pain, he deserves to be happy. He finally found someone who makes him happy.

"Tara na? Uwi na tayo." Nakangiti kong sabi kay Ethan habang umiiyak. I don't wanna show him how much I'm hurting right now. I don't even know if I should cry because of what I saw or smile because I'm happy to see him smile again.

"Nasasaktan ka na nga tinitignan mo pa."

"Sinong nagsabing nasasaktan ako? I'm actually happy for him."

"Happy? Then why are you crying?" Tanong niya habang pinupunasan ang mga luha ko. "Sometimes tears are more special than smiles. You can fake a smile but you can't fake a tear. Tears just fall when you're really hurt."

"Tears do not only come from pain."

"Yeah... but in your case, I can see that you're really hurt."

One of the most courageous decision you'll ever make is to finally let go of what is hurting your heart and soul.

'Yan ang sabi ni Brigitte Nicole. Siguro nga may mga bagay tayong dapat nang bitawan para hindi tayo mahirapan at masaktan.

Ilang araw na rin ang lumipas matapos kong makita si Ian at yung babae.

"Uyy saan ka ba pupunta?" Tanong ni Ethan.

"Somewhere." Sagot ko at pumasok na ako sa kotse ko.

"Wait! Sasama ako!"

"I didn't allow you to join me."

"Saan ka nga kasi pupunta?"

"Sa pupuntahan. Now move! 'Wag mo nang harangan ang kotse ko dahil sa ayaw at sa gusto mo, aalis ako!"

"You're not allowed to drive!"

"Aish! I don't need you to allow me and who the hell cares for that stupid permission?!"

"Jhia! Gusto mo bang mamatay?!"

"Today?! On this freaking date?! Hell yeaaaah!" I said while crying and laughing. I know... I'm crazy!

"You're drunk! Let's go home! I'll drive your car!"

"I can still drive and I need to go somewhere!"

"Fine! We'll go to that 'somewhere' but I'll be the one to drive you're car."

"No need. I know I'm drunk but I can still drive."

"Aish! Ang tigas talaga ng ulo mo! If something bad happens to you, Hailey will surely be mad as hell to me!"

"You don't have to look after me 'cause you're not my nanny which means I'm not your responsibility!"

"Fine! You'll go to that 'somewhere'... with me."

"Ethan naman!"

"What?!"

"Aish fine!"
