Chapter Twenty Five- Luke.

2) I actually updated!

Four days has passed since Han's funeral.

Everyone's been rather quiet since then, I assume it's from the shock of the funeral we just had for the fallen legend, but it may also be the fact that there's now a 'dead' soldier on the team.

Our lives haven't been normal for a long time, and, although, I can't wait for the day things settle down again, I'm also terrified.

What is normal anymore?

Finn and Rey walk into my bunk, first knocking on the door, before opening it.

"Hello," Rey greet gently. "we're ready to train. You?"

"Yeah," I nod, standing up, taking my lightsaber and cloak. "let's go, guys."

After six hours of training, I decide it's time to stop.

Rey today has been barely listening, barely speaking, as if something inside of her snapped, and she just doesn't care anymore. She doesn't look right, she looks tired.

Emotionally exhausted.

"Rey, you alright?" Finn asks, picking up his jacket. "You look a little ... pale."

"Yeah, yeah," she nods. "I'm fine. Just didn't sleep too well last night."

"You sure?" Finn asks, unconvinced.

"I'm fine." She says. "I had a nightmare - quite a few. It's just some dream I get occasionally. I think it may just be a bad memory."

"Alright, no more questions, I swear." Finn says. "But wait, one more, want to hang out? Poe, Rose, and Lyra are coming!"

"I'm sorry, Finn," Rey apologizes. "I was going to visit the library."

"We could come with you!" Finn suggests. "Come on, it'd be amazing! You could bond with them a little more."

"Finn," she sighs. "don't beg, okay?"

"Fine," he nods. "If you don't mind me asking, what're you going to do?"

"I'm going ... to uncover some hidden secrets from the past." She says, immediately I realize what she means.

"Uh, alright." Finn replies. "Well, have fun. Hope you find what you are searching for."

"Thanks," Rey smiles, and Finn leaves. "Huh, anyway, I should probably get going."

"Yeah, alright." I say.

You better bring her back.

Luke! You have to tell her! If you don't tell her, she'll figure out. And it'll be ten times worse.

Are you getting rid of me, Daddy?

She'll be back.. soon.. hopefully.

"Rey, wait." I stop her, she turns around slowly. "Uh ... I need to speak with you."

"Alright," She says, walking towards me. "What's wrong?"

"There's somethings, you may find in the library." I say, looking to the ground. "And ... uh, I feel it'd be better if you heard this from me, rather than a book."

"What do you mean?" She asks.

"I know you're doing research to find your parents." I say. "You hope you'll find something about a six year old little girl with brown hair and hazel eyes who was abandoned on Jakku by her father and uncle."

"Where are you going with this? And, most importantly, how do you know all this stuff?"

"Rey," I sigh. "I know who your parents are."

"Y-you do?" Rey asks in disbelief, tears welling up in the corner of her hazel eyes.

"Yes," I say. "you're mom, Jemma Kenobi, was a Jedi, perhaps one of the strongest. She was beautiful and loved you so very much. She had brown hair, and hazel eyes, and wanted the best for you. When you were six, however, she passed."

She closes her eyes, letting the tears slip out.

"A-and my father?"

"Your father," I begin, preparing myself for anything. "your father is a Jedi, and he loves you, very much. And I know this, because, Rey, your father, he's standing right in front of you."

Her eyes widen as realization washes over her.

"Um, Rey, or should I say, Kyra Skywalker, I am your father."
