Chapter 3

Shizuo's pov:
Today sucks eggs. First my alarm didn't wake me up. I had to walk all the way to highschool. I didn't have breakfast and I'm sure the first class already started 20 minutes ago.
I sped up my pace running faster and faster until I finally reached the school gates. I stopped and started to catch my breath.
"Today sucks eggs huh?" A familiar voice spoke from beside me. I turned my head to see it was sir izaya panting heavily, desperately trying to catch his breath. So he came late too huh? "Last one to the first floor's a chicken!" He grinned and made a run for it. "I hate chickens!!" I grabbed my bag and ran after him.
He was surprisingly fast for me. It felt as if he could run up a wall at any second. Such speed. "I win!" He beamed at me and ruffled my hair. "Catch you later sport." He spoke like a grown up. "How old are you?" I asked while taking a sip from my water-bottle. He turned before smiling and continuing to walk.
"21. Forever 21 my dear~" he joked...at least I think he did.
